(ThyBlackMan.com) I noticed that these pseudo-conscious people are perpetuating other myths on social media and YouTube.
Intro: Here are the other myths that pseudo-conscious people like to perpetuate.
1. All Of Our History And Inventions Are In Africa – One of the biggest myths that’s often perpetuated by pseudo-conscious people on social media and YouTube is that “all of our history and inventions are in Africa.”
Actually, all of our history and inventions are not just in Africa, we also made history and also created inventions in other parts of the world like China, South America, Australia, and even here in The States.
2. Welfare Is The Sole Reason For Single Parent Households In Our Community – I noticed that many pseudo-conscious women have said on social media and YouTube is that the reason why our family structure has been reduced to single mother households is because to them, welfare is the main catalyst.
Actually, that statement is far from true because although welfare is a small part of why there are so many single mother households in our community, they fail to even acknowledge nor won’t address the main catalyst behind so many single mother households that exist in our community today which is mass incarceration because I argue for over the past three decades, mass incarceration has severely obliterated our family structure because of systemically oppressive laws enacted in the 1980s and 1990s that systemically removed so many brothers from the home. And many brothers are currently in prison right now for mostly nonviolent drug related offenses that resulted in egregious draconian sentences.
3. Swirling Is “Harming” Our Community – One of the biggest myths that they also perpetrate is that swirling is “harming” our community
Actually, swirling is not “harming” our community as much as they like to think it is because according to actual research I found recently, 86% of “African-American” men are currently married to “African-American” women in America and 94% of “African-American” women are currently married to African men in America. 4. Asking For Donations To ” Help Improve The Quality Of Life” For The Community – One of the myths that pseudo-conscious people are good at is “preaching to the choir” about what they’ll do for the community, then turn around and ask for donations to “improve the quality of life” for the community.
Actually, pseudo-conscious people only use the money they got from donations for very opportunistic gain because they are just like the pimp pastors that financially exploit our community every year to perpetuate this facade of “living a good life” in the suburbs away from other brothers and sisters that are struggling to make it in the hood.
The Conclusion – These pseudo-conscious people that claim to care about our community don’t truly care about the community because they only care about perpetuating myths to manipulate people into thinking a certain way and by also enriching themselves so that they won’t “help improve the quality of life” for the community, but to also get out of the hood and living the facade of a “good life” in the suburbs.
