Mental Illness In The Inner City Community.

(ThyBlackMan.com) Mental illness is a very taboo topic in the inner city community because most of them don’t want to talk about it let alone address the issue.

I myself do suffer from mental issues & when I was a kid, I was labeled a “special needs” child because of not only my mental issues, but I had a severe learning disability & I was very illiterate back in the day.

The media paints mental illness from a very false one-sided perspective because it’s not limited to just one group of people.

Much of the mental illness is rampant within our community comes from systemic agendas like racism, poverty, drugs, violence, etc.

Multiple forms of mental illness in the inner city community also consist of:

Self-Hate – causes us to see ourselves as “inferior” as well as buck dance, bleach our skin, and even talking down on our own people at the expense of big racist corporations like Fox News (Ex: Stacey Dash).

Over Spending – causes us to engage in conspicuious consumption which is bad for our community.

Materialism – has created a generation of people who don’t love themselves to just throw all their money away on overpriced Eurocentric stuff like Gucci.

Begging For Acceptance, Approval, & Validation From Other People – An actual example of this is when the people in the political operative controlled BLM movement go out in public and say “Black Lives Matter” as a way to constantly beg Mainstream America for acceptance, approval, and validation. That is a huge form of mental illness.

Begging For Others To Hire Them – Recently, Trent Richardson told E:60 that his relatives and friends secretly stole 1.6 million without his knowledge. It’s a damn shame that he’s still begging The Massa for a job when he doesn’t realize that he’s reached the twilight of his career. There’s no dignity that comes from begging for a job.

Self-Destruction – through the mainstream media and music industries, society thinks it’s “cool” for brothers and sisters to stay high on hard drugs like purple drank and molly, turning up at the club every weekend and making it rain. And on top of that, engaging in sexual irresponsibility to the point of catching STDs and having multiple kids by multiple people. There’s NOTHING “cool” about embracing ignorance and self-destruction in our community.

Religion is also a form of mental illness and mental slavery & here are the negative effects religion has on the mind and I’ve seen this up-close.

Looks down on other religions & non religious people.

Creates irrational, hateful, toxic, & very destructive attitudes, & behavior

Breeds Corruption, Hatred, Racism, Mental Slavery, War, & Violence.

Makes most inner city people reject anything taught & being told outside their religion (ex. how it was forced on our ancestors during slavery (videos of that are on Youtube).

Killed Millions Throughout History (ex. over 140 million Africans killed by White European Christians & Arab Islamics during The African Holocaust (videos of that are also on YouTube).

Encourages many people to bully & force their beliefs on weak minded people to make them conform to it.

Encourages most inner city people not to question anything from religious books.

Makes most inner city people blindly believe that religious books are “The Truth“.

Makes most inner city people “turn the other cheek” when their family member, relative, friend, or child is killed by either a racist person.

The Inner City Church demonizes mental illness as the “devil’s curse” or “possessed by the devil” & often tells those with mental illness to “turn to religion so that you can be saved from the devil“.

Conclusion: My view is that if you have mental illness, don’t turn to The Church, instead turn to a doctor or psychiatrist that looks like you and can truly help you and give you the advice you really want to hear.
