(ThyBlackMan.com) There is an erroneous perception that black men are more criminal than non-blacks. Why is that? Statistics are generally produced seemingly validating a consensus that African Americans are more prone to violence and criminal activities, however, stats can be used to paint any picture we so desire surreptitiously sweeping white on white crime under the proverbial rug. When black on black violence is addressed we need to simultaneously allude to a violence that violence produced. In other words, black on black violence is reflective of centuries of white on black violence, and Black America’s reaction to that violence. To be succinct we live in a society that’s based on lies and deception where the truth is ALWAYS reversed?
Since its inception the American society has proven to be a society of criminals, ran by criminals and a creator of criminals; enslavers, rapist, robbers, killers and murders. When we look at the origins of our society we will recognize that it is founded on criminal activities. It is founded on the murder and theft of Native Americans and their land; the kidnapping, manslaughter and extortion of African people. The labor and enslavement of African people. The very nature and foundation of the American society rests on two massive genocidal crimes, and these original crimes is a part of its present day nature.
The value of power is you can make criminal whatever you want, legitimizing your own criminality and perverseness. You can call virtue a crime and arrest people for being virtuous, then stats are produced implying that they are more criminal because they are in jail. However, the FBI’s homicide statistics, rallying murders for the 28 years between 1980 and 2008, don’t lie. An overwhelming majority of homicides were carried out by white people, against other white people. Even though the ratio of black homicides against black victims is greater, the number of white murderers far exceeds the number of black murderers, white on white violence is not a mirage.
According to FBI homicide statistics of year 2011, 2,630 white people killed 3,172 white people. When comparing that to the black population, in which 2,447 African-Americans murdered 2,695 of their own, white-on-white murder clearly becomes part of the equation.
Vulnerable populations are generally defined as children and the elderly. Family members and significant others are also often targets of homicide, rather than random victims. FBI homicide statistics from 1980 to 2008 show that white people are, by the numbers, far more likely to kill children and the elderly than any other race. Additionally, white people commit more sex-related and gang-related homicides than any other race.
While a lot of attention has been given to the gang-related homicides in Chicago’s predominantly-black South side, very little press has been devoted to covering the epidemic of white-on-white gangland murders. As the above chart demonstrates, the majority of gang-related homicides are committed by white people (53.3 percent white, 42.2 percent black), and the majority of white gang murder victims are also white (56.5 percent white, 40 percent black).
During the 1920s – 1940s, gang bosses from Ireland and Italy began to take over the “mean streets” of New York and Chicago. Street gangs would threaten to burn down a shopkeeper’s store if he didn’t pay them a certain number of dollars every week. Store owners would usually come up with the cash because mob gangs were very intimidating and relentless. Each gang owned a particular “turf,” a section of the city that contained all the abandoned warehouses along the coastline. Coastline property was highly prized back then, as it allowed easy access to dump dead bodies and partake in illegal activity. They had no education no economic opportunities, thus rackets, running numbers, etc. were unrestrained…they broke the law to survive.
A man’s job is to protect and provide…being unable to do so makes one insecure feeling unmanly, and to some degree effeminate. To compensate for this ill-feeling the uneducated black male lacking economic opportunities, trapped in a cesspool of poverty, finds himself projecting his manhood by killing and sexual prowess.
Being systematically locked into a no win situation whereas all the wealth and power in this country has been skewed over 400 years systematically into the hands of the majority white society; not owning a significant amount of anything to be able to control one’s own life can become a recipe to survive by any means necessary. Whites in America controls almost 100% of the income, wealth, power, the resources, businesses, privileges, all levels of government…therefore, fatherless families, public housing, food stamps, drug abuse in the black community are symptoms of a broader calamity. Black America is socially engineered to be a permanent under-class.
We must recognize when we begin to look at black on black violence its connection to a racist society. We must come to understand what a racist society is truly all about. The term is loosely banded about thus racism is often misconstrued. It must be recognized that a racist society is about structuring social and political economic circumstances. Psychological and cultural circumstances such that one race can take advantage of another. One race being able to enhance itself at the expense of another. It has little to do with overt race hatred or with racial negative attitudes, the projection of racial stereotypes.
To define it in terms of racial attitudes one will find his/herself solving the wrong problems. While smiling in your face and being ever so polite the [expression] of negative attitudes can easily be curtailed but the effects of racism, poverty and other things will continue. Ultimately, it must be recognized that racism involves the power of one race being able to impose its will upon another. From day one the significance of racism has always been about power and mind control and has never ceased.
To overlook this truth is a gross error in judgment. Also, this cannot be emphasized enough…the sole intent and purpose of the n-word is to serve as a self-refueling, self-generating psychological conduit for mental enslavement, simultaneously presenting an image of inferiority making it easier to kill Black African Americans; whether it’s police brutality or black on black violence the psychological intent is there and have been for almost three centuries without interruption. A discussion about crime, drugs, and gangs within the black community must also include how drugs and firearms became so easily accessible to the black community which is pivotal and shouldn’t be overlooked.
The question can be raised what about those African Americans who have made it and living the American dream why aren’t they reaching back to help those less fortunate to find their way? Unlike other groups successful African Americans…generally…do not reach back to help their own. Part of the problem is that African Americans are discouraged from uniting—prohibiting self-empowerment and self-determination in the process.
Rap artists are contributors to the problem. They have and are being used as tools to contaminate the minds of an entire generation of kids with self-destructive messages of crime, violence, misogyny, sagging pants and use of the n-word. Implanting false values, principles and beliefs into the psyche of our youth that life is all about money, fame and sex, and that going to prison is a badge of honor is reprehensible and an abomination.
Professional athletes can express concerns about social injustices, but if they try and put their money where their mouth is by affiliating with and/or starting any sort of movement there will be dire consequences for their actions.
In corporate America successful black people have mortgages to pay, car notes to make and families to provide for and any attempts to awaken their fellow African Americans to overcome racism, getting involved or creating a self-empowerment movement can lead to loss of job. Two key words are paramount—individualism and nationalism. African Americans are the only group in all of America encouraged to think as individuals and discouraged to entertain nationalistic thoughts to do so cries of racism will erupt within and without the black community.
Many African Americans will embrace the vile, evil racist n-word n**ga while simultaneously disdaining usage of the n-word nationalism. You are encouraged to go back and re-read the paragraph about what racism truly is…then refer back to the beginning of this article as to how the truth is…ALWAYS reversed. Keeping Black African Americans discombobulated, hoodwinked and bamboozled.
This being an election year hopefully Black America will face the reality that our salvation doesn’t lie in the hands of political parties, be it Democrats or Republicans, we either collectively learn to take control of our own destiny—which can only be achieved by thinking as nationalist—or forever remain an under-class.
By all means vote but don’t delude yourself into believing either party is going to be your savior. Republicans exalts how they freed the slaves, however, Lincoln signed the Proclamation out of fear of pending slave insurrections across the country not from the goodness of his heart. Behind closed doors there is only one party. This was never more apparent than the disputed election of year 2000 when with the help of his brother Jeb, George Bush literally stole it. The Congressional Black Congress protested the election but needed one senator from either party to side with them which didn’t materialize. Republicans and Democrats joined forces against the CBC and during the protest each CBC member was essentially told to shut up, be quiet and take their seat.
Also, of grave concern, there is a disparity between supply and demand for human organs, and black organs seems to be the most preferred choice leaving unanswered questions as to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the increase in the killings of young black people.

@Marque Anthony:
Your position has been two fold, you dislike use of the term Black, and dislike the fact that I didn’t use any stats to support your discriminatory views about black on black crime. Other than that you have yet to challenge or disprove anything I’ve said. But I do agree with you that some things were left out some of which are as follows further demonstrating how statistics can be biases presenting ONLY half the story. Hiding the real story of how Black America has and is being set-up to disintegrate. There is much going on right underneath your very nose but…you are too blind…to see it.
Since the 1960s undercover police officers have been infiltrating gangs agitating them to fight one another. Gangs were initially formed to advance the growth of the black community.
Undercover police officers have for decades invaded the black community pulling clandestine acts, harassing young people, instigating and provoking public unrest.
Under Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Jr., and to some extent Obama there have always been a denial of racism while behind the scenes racism runs rampant. Relative to struggles of poverty the victim is always blamed and is designated as a consequence of their “deviancy” or of coming from single-parent families, etc. Such discourses erase the role of long standing macro-economic forces entrenched in our society. Increasing number of black youths are affected as a consequence drift into the irregular economy of thievery, drugs, prostitution, violence, etc. From this backdrop the dominant class refer to Black America as the “dangerous class”. Occasionally the dominant class respond with superficial reform measures, however, more often than not they respond with repression. Thus under Clinton repression evolved as the prison-industrial complex.
There is more much more to be revealed as to how Black African Americans are being exploited and socially engineered to self-destruct from within and without the community.
US Government have surreptitiously planted firearms and drugs in the black community.

@Marta:
What is silly is the mindset of someone such as yourself. People generally see what they look for. And hear what they listen for. There are non-thinking people such as yourself who look for stats that tend to support the false notion that black people are innately criminal.
As I mentioned in the article, stats can be used to paint any picture we so desire. If you have a problem with these particular stats take it up with the FBI.
Personally, I’m not a stats person because I know the fallacy that lies behind the compilation of statistics. Stats generally are biased and biased stats is just one of the many smokescreens generally used to cover the true story. The average person will take stats as gospel to help fuel any preconceived notions they may already be entertaining. Which is the purpose of this article to uncover the deceit, deception and fallacy of stats exposing the myth behind black on black violence.
The U.S. Census Bureau calculates that the estimate population size as of 2015 was about 321,418,820. It (U.S.C.B) also calculates that only 13.3% of that is African American or Black, whatever title we are stuck with now. So how can you make a comparison that in 2011, 2630 White’s were killed by other White’s, and 2447 Blacks were killed by other Blacks. You get it? They (White’s that is) make up 77.1%,while Blacks make up a measly 13.3%. Do you see what the cost of denial gets you? It gets us more stupid. If you want race relations, racism to stop, we also have to stop. Damn! This is just all around silly.
@Marque Anthony:
I am NOT black! I am NOT African! I am an American! Are conclusions of being in favor of an “American” or “colorless” identity. Clearly, there is an identity crisis within our community!
Black people worldwide are currently suffering from an identity crisis. They are conflicted in how to define themselves, which forces them to remain unorganized in achieving a common goal. There is a clear confusion as to how people of color should identify. Some will say I’m not an African-American I’m American. Then there are people such as yourself who resent being referred to as Black rejecting your blackness, not knowing what it TRULY means to be Black, misunderstanding the true meaning of blackness. We have allowed another people’s spirit take possession of our bodies and of our minds, how to think, act, walk and talk.
Who taught you to hate the color of your skin so much so that you try to bleach your skin to the color of the white man? One of the reasons we have not organized is because we hate our image, our black African image. This is because Africa has been in the hands of people who have CREATED an image of Africa that’s negative and hateful. It has been hateful to many of us thus refusing to identify ourselves as Africans. We must rid ourselves of self-hate! Don’t be ashamed of your heritage, don’t be ashamed of your COLOR, I am BLACK, beautiful, and proud and not ashamed to say it.
We must reclaim our identity, culture, history and a TRUE understanding of self. We have inherited the disadvantageous our ancestors went through which has never been addressed instead we allow ourselves to be in DENIAL as to how we have been and still are being deceived, bamboozled and hoodwinked as to who we TRULY are.
When an individual or group struggles to develop a strong identity they experience what is generally known as an identity crisis a period of uncertainty and confusion in which a person’s sense of identity becomes insecure, keeping us off balanced and discombobulated as intended.
If you understood the true meaning of BLACK as opposed to the negativity implanted in your heart, mind and soul by your oppressor you would graciously embrace your regal and royal blackness.
@Marque Anthony:
My unapologetic thoughts are well founded and to further illuminate my points of conjecture and concerns I’ll amplify that the reasons young black men resort to violence and crime is due to their relationship with a system that has [excluded] and [oppressed] them for centuries, to ignore this cause and effect syndrome is comparable to an act of self-genocide.
Yes, PERSONAL responsibility is a factor, BUT understanding how the minds of young black boys have been negatively impacted by RACIAL OPPRESSION may provide insight on what solutions will be effective in remedying the problem. It needs to be recognized how black on black crime is an argument used to derail the conversation on police brutality.
White America has YET to admit to its sinful criminal nature instead tries to rationalize its basic criminality by projecting its criminality on to other people. There is a racial psychological character assassination that is ongoing. They refuse to face their OWN criminality they must engage in the psychology of denial, repression and distortion. This denial, repression and distortion must suffuse throughout the total society. If you INSIST on ignoring the social context then you will get engage in BLAMING the victim, seeing certain people as innately criminal and this is what this society would like for us to do…where we engage in SELF blame and not deal with the system itself.
Black on black violence is a manifestation of and a reaction to white on black violence. The continual assassination of black people on radio, TV, newspapers and every other media is an attempt for whites to continue to justify the original crime of enslaving and abusing black people. You may chose to ignore this salient fact…but I for one, WILL NOT.
We cannot continue to sit back and ALLOW the mainstream media to propagate an image that black males are a growing threat to the safety of the general public and yet ignore any and all CONTRIBUTING factors as though they are insignificant. To allow this is a criminal act within itself.
WAKE UP AND NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
It amazes me how many of you are still brainwashed to call yourselves BLACK. Black is not an identity and scientifically black is not even a color. It is next to nothing. Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin. The white oppressive slave trader called you black and himself white to set up a contrast and to attach negative images and denotations to you based on a lie about color. Look up BLACK in the dictionary.
Research even shows that blacks are perceived by other groups as very different from African Americans. But we still keep calling ourselves what someone else defined us as, what we are not and what has a negative dictionary denotation in society. WAKE UP. LOOK AT THE REAL COLOR OF YOUR SKIN. YOU ARE NOT BLACK. You are an African American. The lie of calling us black and defining us by color (the wrong color) has been in place so long that our people accept it as truth – but it’s not. Know your colors.
Native Americans do not allow others to call them red men. Asians do not accept being called yellow men. Hispanics do not answer to “what’s up brown man”. And Caucasians are not white, notebook paper is white. Wake up and see the plan where white racist supremacists plotted to redefine our people from Africa. STOP CALLING YOURSELF SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE NOT!
AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK.
Black is the color of your car tires, not your skin author. Being called “black” is a lie and it should be offensive. Haitians, Jamaicans and even Africans do not accept being called “black”, Why do you think that is? They are identified by tribes, klans, geographic areas and their respective countries. By using the very term black to describe us, we are doing the following:
1. Using a term white oppressors and slave masters gave us.
2. Letting someone else define us other than our own people.
3. Calling ourselves something we are not.
4. Buying into thee lie and the negative denotation. Check the dictionary.
5. Being set apart in a way that no other ethnic group allows. Native Americans are not called Red Man. Asians are not called Yellow Man. Hispanics are not called Brown Man. They do not and will not accept being defined by color and by some other race or ethnic group at that.
6. Ignoring our actual color (brown) which means brainwashing has worked. Any time someone can get an entire race, ethnic group or culture to ignore what they are and call themselves what they factually are not, THEY HAVE BEEN INDOCTRINATED, ASSIMILATED AND BRAINWASHED.
7. Playing right into the oppressor’s profiles and stereotypes. Did you know studies show there is a different perception of black people than there is of African Americans? Words create perceptions and perceptions create actions towards us.
WAKE UP. You know your colors. And even though others around the world equated our ancestors with the color of the soil in Africa or the meaning of negro/negroid, that does not change the fact that WE ARE BROWN – NOT BLACK.
If you look in the dictionary or send an email to brainstormonline@yahoo.com, I will send you the research. Facts are facts and YOU ARE BROWN, NOT BLACK. When you receive the revelation of why they keep calling African Americans “black” and Caucasian people “white”, you may just wake up!
STOP LETTING OTHER GROUPS DEFINE YOU WITH AN OBVIOUS LIE that we have heard and accepted so much that we believe it’s true and forget our colors. The de-programming has to take root or African Americans will forever be defined, limited and oppressed by those who get us to accept a lie.
As a former detective and a current senior legal analyst, I have to say this article is one-sided. It simply blames the white man and the establishment for either lying about black on black crime or causing it.
It’s time to grow up and tell the whole story. We African Americans cannot simply blame the system or the white man for what we do, though both are partially to blame. Yet our people must accept personal responsibility for what they do instead of making themselves feel better by playing “the devil made me do it” games.
What the author refers to as black on black crime is in fact far higher than the FBI stats and here is why. The FBI collects crime stats from local police departments nationwide based on either the UCR system or the NIBRS system. The UCR system is often used by police departments because it is outdated and allows for many types of crimes not to be reported. Thus the stats do not reflect the real numbers. If they did, corporations would not likely move to many of our US cities so it is a matter of capitalism and city revenue. I am not justifying what they do, but rather explaining it.
Black on black crime is far too high and any honest person knows that. We do not need to throw in distractions about white on white crime or how the system is the problem because these issues distract from us accepting responsibility for reducing crime in our own communities. Blaming someone else is easy but it almost never fixes the problems.
I am not under any illusion. I am familiar with everything from the King Alfred Plan to Rex 84 to Cointelpro to Operation Garden Plot and then some. But none of these are sufficient excuses for black on black crime.
I caution the author of this article not to simply release anyone from responsibility and accountability because it simply leads to denial and again fixes nothing. Hitler got the Aryans to blame the Jews and a holocaust happened. The author does touch on some important discussion we need to have but the problem is much more complex than it appears and ACCOUNTABILITY SHOULD BE FOR EVERYBODY. Yet conveniently cherrypicking homicide stats is stacking the deck. Look at the entire picture instead and include all the stats.
I suggest the author contact me at atlantacrimecommission@yahoo.com
