Her songs were controversial because of the lyrics and melody. In fact, the music videos of her songs are even more controversial, not to mention her outrageous outfit. She is a busy woman with career engagements left and right. February 2016 is probably the busiest month for Lady Gaga. Last February 7, 2016, she sang the United States national anthem at the Super Bowl 50, which wowed the crowd. Her rendition of the national anthem has her fans going gaga for her powerful vocals.
Her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California was incredibly amazing. Lady Gaga stick with the traditional arrangement of the song. Her looks is truly exceptional too. She was wearing a glittery red two-piece suit with blue nails and red eye shadow. Her performance in the Super Bowl 50 was just the start of better days for Lady Gaga. Singing in the Super Bowl 50 was a dream comes true, according to Gaga.
Lady Gaga is an Oscar nominee too. She also performed a tribute to David Bowie at the Grammy Awards last February 15. She also won a Golden Glove for her turn in the horror anthology of Ryan Murphy. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for best original song, “Til It Happens To You.”
There are many singers who can sing the America’s national anthem and Lady Gaga is quite a controversial choice. She took it as a challenge although she admitted that having to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl is a dream comes true. She decided to keep the version fairly traditional. She started slowly and eventually hit the high notes. The spectators of the show were wowed and the Levi Stadium was roared with cheers.
“I’m really singing it from the heart and I’m also singing it very true to the way it was written because that’s when I think it sounds its most majestic. There’s no greater honor than standing next to the Color Guard, the Flag, the Army and the Military and singing the National Anthem,” said Gaga. Lady Gaga will be turning 50 this March and surely her career will flourish even more for the coming years.
