(ThyBlackMan.com) As a black conservative Tea Party patriot, I have been struggling with what I should do, if anything, in response to the rash of incidents of racial violence resulting from the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case. Prolific race-hustler Al Sharpton is heralded as a hero. http://bit.ly/IIUZR5 Attorney General Eric Holder ignores the New Black Panther “dead or alive” bounty on George Zimmerman. http://bit.ly/HM1Aiq Three major TV networks are caught manipulating facts of the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case to fuel racial hatred and anger. http://bit.ly/HchWtZ Minister Farrakhan tweeted referring to the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman case, “Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon and very soon, the law of retaliation may very well be applied.”http://yhoo.it/GPnyxc

Even a nut case white supremacist group have thrown their hat, or skinned heads, into the ring, threatening violence. http://bit.ly/IsEp8G

Rather than showing pictures of 6’3” seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin, nearly every TV news broadcast features pictures of Trayvon as an adorable little boy in his little league football uniform. This is done by design to further the media’s storyline: innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man. George Zimmerman is not white. He is Hispanic. To further the mainstream media storyline, the New York Times has deemed George Zimmerman, a “white” Hispanic. http://wapo.st/HilSiA

I do not know what transpired between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin. I do know that the Race Industry has gone to extraordinary, dishonest lengths to promote its innocent-little-black-boy-murdered-by-evil-racist-white-man storyline.

Even president Obama despicably and masterfully fueled the flames of racial hatred by saying, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin”. http://bit.ly/HTrpcO As a seasoned professional politician, president Obama surely knew his comment would up the ante of black rage.

So yes, as Christian and as patriot, I wondered, what should I do to help calm the storm of Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman related racial violence? Should I rally black conservatives to denounce the violence and call for unity at a press conference? No, the liberal biased mainstream media would not cover such a press conference. Non-victim-minded blacks do not fit the media-desired image of America. Blacks who love their country without resentment toward fellow Americans who are white are as repulsive to the mainstream media as showing Dracula the cross.

Well, what about a racial peace rally – blacks and whites standing together, singing songs and talking about unity. No, Obama’s SEIU thugs and/or the New Black Panthers could exploit the event by showing up to assault patriots.

Remember Kenneth Gladney, the black conservative who was beaten and sent to the emergency room by SEIU thugs at a town hall meeting during the health care debates? http://bit.ly/OCx7g Many believe Gladney’s beating was in response to Obama White House’s clarion call to “push back twice as hard” and get in the faces of those opposing Obamacare.

The mainstream media will never tell the truth about black-on-white crime. When reporting incidents of black-on-white violence, the media walks a tightrope, bending over backwards to avoid mentioning race. And yet I heard a report on the radio in which the reporter, without hesitation, up front and in your face said five “black” men were shot by a “white” male in a white pickup truck. This type of story fits the racist image that the media desires to portray of white America. According to the media, blacks are ALWAYS the victims and never the aggressors. http://bit.ly/IBgnXa

So how do we right-thinking, decent Americans counter all the racial hate, evil and violence, fueled by media and the Obama administration, that’s contaminating our great country?

Mary is away, up north visiting family. Thus, I found myself in the grocery store checkout line with my shopping cart one-third full. An elderly white gentleman in line behind me had two items. “Excuse me sir – you can go in front of me.” He gleefully replied, “Thank you very much.” After the cashier had bagged his items and given the elderly white gentleman his change, he thanked me again.

I thought, that’s it! For now, until God leads me otherwise, I can simply continue doing what I, along with millions of my fellow Americans, do every day: seize every opportunity to spread racial harmony and kindness. I know that sounds corny, but I know it is the right thing to do.

Despite what the Race Industry would have you believe, a majority of Americans are not at each other throats, divided along racial lines. Most Americans are over “the race thing.” Americans live, work and play together just fine. Interracial marriage is far from being the big deal it was in the past. Unfortunately, it is the mission of the mainstream media, the Obama administration and race profiteers to keep the Race Industry alive and profitable. These people (race instigators and exploiters) are evil.

Therefore, it is up to us – proud responsible Americans – to continue sowing seeds of racial harmony, brotherhood and peace.

Oh yeah, by all means, let’s not split the country along racial lines, let’s stick with splitting it along lib vs. con lines. You’re wise enough to recognize the outrageous manipulation of the truth on the Martin case, but are blind to recognizing it works EXACTLY the same in the lib vs. con case.

The media is NOT liberal. It is NOT conservative. The media is corporate. If you can control what people believe, you can control what people do.

Otherwise, you mostly have the right of it. The Golden Rule, the principal that we should treat others with the same courtesy and respect with which we want to be treated, really does work.

The man or woman totally free of bias has yet to be born. We form opinions about the people we meet based on their similarities to people we’ve met in the past. He’s too short or too tall. She’s too big or too small. That one is too poor or too rich. That one is too pretty or too ugly. That one is too light or too dark. The list is endless.

Common courtesy and formal politeness is always an acceptable substitute for brotherly love. It’s the lubricant that makes a social machine made up of many different parts work smoothly for the benefit of all.

It also doesn’t hurt to keep an open mind and a willingness to be quick to question one’s own assumptions. For the author, I’d respectfully suggest taking a few minutes to research who owns the US media. Hint: 5 very large corporations control over 80% of everything you see, hear and read. In some markets, you can open your newspaper, read a magazine, switch through several news channels on radio, TV and cable, and never get past the views of a single company.

The country is divided along lines but they are not racial. It took 44 days, Al Sharpton, massive nationwide demonstrations, The President of the United states, the Dept. of Justice, Jesse Jackson, the Main Stream Media, the Black Panthers, the outrage of 76% of Americans, Bill Cosby, threats of boycotts and a Special Prosecutor just to begin Due Process Of Law for this KILLER. I’m part of the 76% of OUTRAGED AMERICANS; its obvious you are part of the 24% of complicit Americans willing to accept or even celebrate this lack of Due Process of Law. As you well know, roughly 12% of U.S. citizens are African-Americans; For a black man to say that the nation is divided, 76%, along racial lines and needs fixing is disingenuous and egregious. This is about a youth walking home from the store and an overzealous armed neighborhood watch captain that STALKED and KILLER him with impunity in a Florida CITY that places itself above and beyond U.S. LAW. If YOU and your Tea Party cohorts and all the ‘skinheads’ in the world want to pursue this further, it will be against the U.S. Government and 76% of the U.S. PUBLIC. That’s where THE DIVIDING LINES are drawn; this INJUSTICE WILL BE CORRECTED and U.S. JUSTICE will Prevail.

DG My Daughter and I live in a Racilally mixed Bogata/Teneck NJ.
White, Hispanic, Black is in her school and the kids just view each other kids. (5-6th Grade). We are American of Italian desent (Unless someone was born in Italy they are not Italian American, and I would say the same for any race i.e. American of Afican Desent) and to start I believe all Americans need to start Identifing ourselves as Amercian 1st. If there was a “wana be” Mafiaso Kid who decided to start beating up someone who looked at them “funny”
and attacked them and the other person defended themself, that should be self defense. In fact there was a case where a black man (John White /Ironic) with a gun that shot and killed a white Kid Daniel Cicciaro that threatned his son. Unfortunaly the John was conviced. I support what Gov. Patterson did in Comunting the jail sentenance and John was released. I believe one needs to have the right to defend oneself no matter what the color or race. Crime is Crime and the victum has to be able to defend one self.

Lloyd, I will commend you for your general assessment in regard to the media manipulation of the situation. That is about where I stop though.

The problem I have with your article is that you simultaneously seek to address issues of racial hyperbole, but you start your article off by identifying your race and feeding into the subsequent hyper-racialization of the incident that you suggest you dislike.

To my that is inherently contradictory.

Second, I would also challenge your assertion that “Most Americans are over the race thing”. I find this comment interesting, and it seems to pander more towards those of your ideological position than being grounded in any research.

Many Americans (because the majority are white, and many of them live nowhere near ethnic minorities) aren’t confronted by race, and therefore may not consider the impact of race, but this doesn’t mean that they are over race.

By way of anecdotal evidence, go on any major news outlet message board when they have an overt issue dealing with race and see what vitriol comes out from Anonymous.

I would love to more thoroughly debate you on some of your premises on race and politics.

Great article, Lloyd. I’m glad that someone feels the same way that I do. The media is turning this into another Rodney King or OJ. Our country has enough problems right now and don’t really need to have a racially divisive, tv court case.
The media and journalists have the ethics of porn stars – they do anything to get a rise regardless of the social consequences. I think that the media and politicians hurt our country way more the Taliban ever will.
