The loving couple must have enough money to enjoy the things invented, and provided by the western world. This love relationship must have ways to provide food, clothing, shelter, and also to satisfy our need to feel important. The chattel slave had a crude way of showing love while being treated as wild beasts. This behavior has now changed but still has remnants of beastly relationships. Western world thought is not totally satisfying to the African American man, and woman. We cannot truly love each other trying to live our lives vicariously through the thoughts of the western world. The white man’s love is not the African American’s love.
