LOL, so the article says Mamdani’s win is like a flash in the pan east of the Hudson? Figures! Seems like folks are getting ecstasy over a win thats basically only a big deal in the Big Apple. The idea of the whole Democratic party suddenly becoming populist because of it? Give me a break! Sounds like the author thinks the rest of America would just kowtow to Trump if the party shifted left. Oh, the irony! As if the rest of the country doesnt have its own issues and voters. Maybe the real breakthrough is realizing that NYC politics arent the same as everywhere else. And maybe, just maybe, those other places have some ideas too, beyond just shouting radical fringe candidate! ?
