They are RENEWING the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017 passed in the first Trump administration. You know, the one that doubled the Child Tax Credit for young families and increased the standard deduction and personal exemption so people paid LESS taxes. Remember the one that widened the income tax brackets so more people would be in lower brackets. Yes, the rich got richer as well but do you know that the top 5% income earners pay >50% of income tax and the top 10% pay >70% of the income tax. Do you know that the bottom 50% pay less than 10% of the income tax collected. These are easily verified statistics-just ask Google. Did Medicaid lose $700B in the last 8 years. How stupid do some people have to be to believe this crap?

People did not vote for short term pain for long term gain. In fact, it is a corrupt political system that caters to the ultra wealthy at the expense of the poor, and the old. It’s about cutting corporate taxes and it’s the billionaire class that pushed a convicted felon into the White House. Trump should have been disqualified under 14-3, but cronyism on the Supreme Court allowed him to be on the voting ballots and have presidential immunity. Anyone else would have been jailed transporting classified documents across state lines. Only his self appointed judge in Fla. allowed Trump to get away scott free in that case. Simply the Republican party stole the 2024 election, and Trump belongs in jail, plain and simple.
