SWSimpson you appear to be what Lenin called a "useful idiot." Your assessment of the pre-Biden term is close to nonsense. And What will Trump do in a second term? Unlike Harris, he didn’t keep his plans a secret. He will reinvigorate border security and stop the multi-millions of gate crashers from invading our country. In concurrence, he will initiate the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.

Once he steps back into the White House, Trump has numerous policies in place ready to bring down inflation, including reducing burdensome regulations, cutting government waste, and decreasing taxes. He will tackle the soaring prices that have squeezed the middle class beyond what anybody could have imagined at the start of 2021, when inflation was still low and manageable.

Trump is committed to renewing American manufacturing. During his first term he induced several multinational corporations to relocate here. During his second term, this will resume at a healthy pace, and in some places has already started.

Also, he will modernize and rebuild the U.S. military to make it the most powerful force in the world, but will employ it sparingly and only when necessary. He recognizes that peace is obtained through strength. During his first term, no new wars were initiated by the U.S. and, looking back, it was a time of relative peace. Once Donald Trump left office, Vladimir Putin got into high gear seizing territory. Xi Jinping accelerated his subtle, enduring campaign to destroy our culture. North Korea resumed testing nuclear weapons. Had Trump been in office for the last four years, none of this would have happened.

Trump will dismantle the weaponization of the federal government against American citizens. He knows all too well that what has happened to him could easily happen to any one of us who don’t have his influence, power, wealth, and authority. He will abolish the Department of Education which has done precious little for decades except consume billions of taxpayer dollars while not moving the needle in terms of our students’ educational capabilities. He will also protect Medicare and Social Security ensuring that people who have long paid into the system will continue to receive their due rewards.

As if the above is not enough, he will secure our elections insisting on same day voting, paper ballots only, proof of citizenship and voter ID. Which of the above initiatives, in any way, indicate that Donald Trump’s second inauguration is only about for himself? You guessed it: None of the above. Thank your lucky stars that a majority of American voters made the right choice.

you're silly!

More Part-Time Jobs: Since the start of the Biden-Harris Administration in January 2021, 1.8 million more Americans have had to take multiple jobs. In July, another 33,000 Americans took on second or third jobs. Over the last year, 508,000 full-time jobs have been replaced with 548,000 part-time jobs.

More Bureaucrats: Since the Biden-Harris Administration began, 30 percent of new jobs have come from hiring for government salaries. In July, government agencies added 17,000 to taxpayer-funded payrolls.

No “Manufacturing Boom”: In the last year, American manufacturers have added only 14,000 total jobs. In July, manufacturers added just 1,000 jobs following an 8,000 cut in June.

Families Falling Behind on Bills: Over one-third of families (37 percent) paid a late fee in the past year.

Everything Costs More: Prices have increased 20.1 percent since the beginning of the Biden-Harris Administration.

Americans Making Less: Real wages and benefits have fallen 3.6 percent since the beginning of the Biden-Harris Administration.

Inflation Above Fed’s Target: For 39 straight months, inflation has been above the Federal Reserve’s 2 percent target.

Inflation Higher Than Wages: Inflation outpaced wages for 26 straight months under the Biden-Harris Administration.

Historic Interest Rates: Under the Biden-Harris Administration, interest rates hit their highest levels in 23 years.

Nearly Doubled Mortgage Costs: The monthly mortgage payment for a median priced new home has increased by $1,027 and is 91 percent higher than when President Biden and Vice President Harris took office in January 2021.

$1 Trillion+ Credit Card Debt: Credit card interest rates are at the highest level in more than three decades, while consumer credit debt has exceeded $1 trillion for the second calendar quarter and the number of Americans struggling to pay credit card bills has increased to the highest level in 12 years.

Shrinking Savings: Thanks to higher prices, families have spent the entirety of their pandemic savings by 2024, and they are able to save less of their income. At 3.4 percent, the personal savings rate is near its historic lows.

THIS IS ALL A LIE - Trump inherited a strong economy that was growing at a measured rate, which continued into Trump's first term. Trump tanked the economy, and added more debt than any president. Tax cuts for the rich and big business added to the debt, as it always does -- thanks Reagan, Bush, and Trump. They are the elites who don't give a damn about the rest of the population. Fox "news" lies to viewers and they believe those lies. It's a con game, a crime syndicate, along with the NRA and anti-abortion fanatics, and republican members of Congress. Trump left the economy in ruins, but it was the Biden administration that turned it around and we have a stronger economy for Biden/Harris efforts. The inflation came because of the pandemic, which Trump so grossly mismanaged and lied about daily, in addition to other factors beyond anyone's control. Inflation would have happened no matter who was president. Trump says that Biden should tank him for no inflation when he took office, but if that were true then he must admit that the economy being in the toilet at that same time was also thanks to Trump. Trump's entire campaign was nothing but lies and false promises. He also lied when he said he knew nothing about Project 2025 but he disagreed with it. They are going full-on Project 2025, and if they are able to do it, America will lose trade partners and allies, and America won't be recognizable to us or to anyone else. They are going to rig everything so that we become a one-party system, a fascist state - one that persecutes people who conservatives have been taught to hate. The corruption will be thorough, and billionaires will become even wealthier and more powerful. Elon Musk and others will profit like never before, and the conflicts of interest will be shockingly obvious,. but Fox and other right-wing media will spin it so viewers will accept it. We will live through the demise, except for the millions of people who rely on social security, Medicare. Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act, because when they end those programs, millions could potentially die.

what a waste of my time which is very limited. 1st off, Republicans have never been able to govern. i love how you just by passed the covid debacle with the magat mouth breathing anti vaccinators caused so much of the price increase. I managed a Dollar Tree,. we couldn't get any product in! it was all out of reach of the docks. And hey, giving the billionaires a tax decrease really helped us all out a whole bunch didn't it? Did you mention the $8T increase Trump amassed to our national debt? no. But you mentioned the checks handed out to people who needed it. My employees make minimum wage. they were crying they were so happy to get that money bc their spouses, roomies, worked in industries closed by covid. I watched a my employees fell like dominoes with covid. But no worries because Trump said it would magically disappear & was no worse than the flu. Meanwhile thousands died a horrible death. You didn't mention that either. You didn't mention how Kamala & Joe brought back manufacturing to states either. Meanwhile Trump is cozying up to the dictators he admires. This just pissed me off. I'm dying of brain cancer & I won't be reading your horse manure again as my time is limited.
