Washington Post and LA Times veered away from the foundational commitment of journalism to report facts, critically analyze and present information to readers and citizens to make well-informed decisions. It is this way news media services as a custodian of free speech and democracy. Unfortunately, these once well-respected news papers became the mouthpiece of the Democrat party, serving as its propaganda arm and won even awards for running totally fictitious stories on the Republican party and its leaders. I do not want to list of these stories, as most readers of this newspapers are familiar with what transpired in the name of news and journalism during the past 10 years–mere propaganda. This cannot survive in the long run. The owners of these newspapers understood the serious state-of-affairs in their invested business entity and went about make a long overdue corrective measure. I humbly believe their effort was to save these propaganda outfits and turn them back to the neutral news entity that readers can depend and rely on the veracity of the news content.
