It’s unfortunate what is happening to Drake. It’s surprising that suddenly current musicians and older artists want to label him as a culture vulture. Just a few months ago, Drake was still at the top of his game, with a career spanning nearly 13 years. Kendrick Lamar released a diss song, and everything changed. It’s also not a good look for Chris Brown to be singing that diss song in a club, as true friendships are rare in Hollywood.

It’s surprising to see Chris Brown taking this approach. Given his past transgressions, including the infamous incident with Rihanna, which many still reference today, his actions are perplexing. Some critics continue to claim that Brown exhibits a bias towards lighter skin tones. His recent attempt to disparage Drake is particularly baffling, considering they were spotted partying together just a few months ago. It seems to reinforce the notion that true friendships are hard to find in the music industry.
