Ishmael, there is knowledge, and wisdom above that of American doctrines espoused at our institutions of higher learning, and by our elected politicians. Let’s call this kind of concluding ” the epiphany that comes from a realization of the sum total of knowledge and wisdom.”One of my university professors also called this human perception “the at once vision of the whole of combined knowledge and wisdom “, the epiphany that comes from perceiving the dovetailing of ideas, and things as they come together in this world, understanding the big picture .”Dr. M.L. King, Jr. understood that shaming a people can lead to changing a people. He understood that with the help of the interplay of polar opposites, one can be on the road to success.

One doesn’t have to be present to verify his truth in the minds of his fellow citizens. He merely needs to float the ideas which may find fertile soil in the minds of others. Many white people hated the ideas about freedom that came from Dr. King. Now, many white people love the ideas that came from Dr. King. I predict that the same thing will happen with many of Dr. West’s ideas because, after all, he is a teacher.( i.e. The word “Doctor” means “teacher” ), and what he is teaching is believable regardless of his financial situations.

I think that Dr. West, a Christian Soldier, is more concerned about the longevity of his immortal soul not what future generations will think of him. America, as we know it, doesn’t have any assurances that it will survive.
