I agree with legal immigration. However this migrant situation that is going on now is way out of control. They are looking for a better life and expect the American taxpayer to pay for it.

It is unfair to the people who are legally waiting to get into this country. We are giving them hotel, rooms, food, cash assistance etc. while there are American citizens living on the streets and going hungry. We should take care of our citizens first. I feel sorry for their plight but what about the citizens that are already here and have lived here all of their life. Don't they deserve something.

It seems that some may not fully recognize that America's demographic is no longer solely Black and White; it has become a diverse melting pot. Whether this change is perceived positively or negatively, it's important to prioritize the well-being of current citizens while also considering our approach to welcoming new members into our community.

Nowhere is it written in our U.S. Constitution that America can't "accept everyone. " In fact,I continue to blame contemporary history professors for this continued error in interpretation of our magnificent organizing document named " The Constitution of the United States of America, and its derivative varying treaty laws, which allows all races, creeds, and colors to come to our shores, or those shores controlled by America and its laws or reasonable facsimiles thereof to live and prosper. What does the average person think that ongoing western and eastern European colonization of the world is about ? Before America began to colonize other places,it had to colonize itself.America's definitions of a democracy is believable, and has been believed by millions of other non-citizen peoples all over the world.

America is a pluralistic democracy with a capitalist economic base that believes in an unequal distribution of available goods and services based on merit. Merit is defined as usefulness to the republic. Think about it,Ancient Rome controlled the entire known world, and none of the Romans were screaming "close the borders because we have too many people ." Jesus Christ was born in a world controlled by the Romans and they continued to spread their political beliefs until conquered, and then their fall.We need to increase the size of our congress by adding more representatives of newly added states or territories throughout the world. We also need to abandon a mythological belief in white supremacy, white privilege, existential, nihilist, autocracy.

America should be allowed to realize its full political potential globally.

There's been much discussion but little action. My point is that America needs to secure its borders and prioritize the welfare of its citizens. We can't accept everyone while neglecting the issues we face here at home.

What should our course of action be? As a nation, it's not sustainable to keep our borders entirely open. With over 300 million people already residing in this great nation, we must also consider their well-being and the implications of further immigration.
