Dear bretheren in Christ:

I attend a Baptist church in Miami, Florida. I love the church because it's a missionary church and we study the Bible only however, I'm recently not happy with the prayers. With the doctrine of the Trinity, people forget that there are three individual persons and so it bothers me when prayers go to Jesus instead of the Father. Jesus taught us that we should pray to the Father in His name. Jesus always prayed to the Father and so did the disciples. To be honest I don't believe in the Trinity. I have studied it for a long time; it was imposed by the powerful Roman Empire. Those who dare to believed differently punishment and all documents burned. For the Greeks and others, it was common to have triune Gods. I also fear the Father will eventually be forgotten.
I'm I wrong? I have prayed to God time and time again to clarify it for me if I'm wrong, but so far I remain uncertain. I look to your guidance.
