On the issue of immigration, the U.S. cannot absorb the entire world. The majority of those who come do not accept the American way of life, but try to change America to the country they are fleeing from; this is dangerous! Look at the amount of Hezbollah supporters. I can understand support for the Palestinian people, but not for Hezbollah. China is our enemy, yet there are thousands of Chinese in this country. Is America, Canada, Central and South America all one country? A country is defined by its borders and that, must be respected. Many of the jobs that are occupied by people with low education, will eventually be given to many of these migrants, making it so much more difficult for the poor. I predict Spanish will eventually become an official language and those who don’t learn the language, will not have as many opportunities. I recommend English speaking parents to encourage their children to learn Spanish.

Merit is defined as usefulness to the republic. America needs a large number of workers, and given its overall political structures at the federal, state, and local levels together with its flexible taxation systems is fully capable of absorbing present day influxes of immigrants. If all else fails,America should declare war on those nations that are failing to provide for its residents and begin to manage the political,economic, and social systems of the conquered nations by any means necessary.Presently, the American political, economic, and taxation systems are being adjusted according to the requests of those political entities requesting assistance with legally accommodating the large numbers of immigrants.
