First of all, the job of legislators is not passing stupid, useless, burdensome, and unconstitutional gun control laws. Legislators take an oath to uphold the constitutions of their states and of the national goverment. Many of the state constitutions do not allow for the kinds of gun laws that modern-day fascists are seeking. In the national Constitution, it says, that the right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.” Miss/Mrs. St. James does not recognise that obvious fact, but she does seem to understand that a lot of other people do and are making it difficult to get the kind of tyranny that she wants.

So, in view of the above, she has looked around for other ways to keep children safe from being shot. Much to her credit, she has come up with some really good ideas. Of course, she could have received all of them a very long time ago from the National Rifle Association and thereby could have had them sooner without the work of having to think them up himself. Never-the-less, she represents progress, and my gratittude is extended unto her.
