Jesus said all those who would love and obey Him, become His disciples through the born again experience of being filled with the Holy Ghost, as His disciples did on the Day of Pentecost, Book of Acts,would be hated. Not because of anything except because we are following after His teaching and obeying His Word. The Spirit of this age hates the Spirit of God. His disciples carried out His instructions, preaching the gospel He gave them and they were stoned, tortured, imprisoned, crucified, sawn asunder, boiled in oil. We are in that same dispensation. Fear not the one who can kill the body,but fear the one who can send our eternal soul to Hell. Soon and very soon, every person will be forced to face the reality of God’s Word and total sovereignty when He appears, the heavens roll back, and all of us who have been hated and despised shall leave this earth to be with Him forever. Praise our God!
