Some things have to be earned. The Bible does not teach that all men deserve the same thing. Some deserve to go to Hell and some don’t because they have accepted Christ. Some are faithful so they will receive a robe and a crown. Others will not. For some, the standards of expectation are higher. God is not a respecter of persons so salvation is equally open to all. But that does not mean all are deserving of the same things.

I caution you to clearly define what a “good” man is.
