This is one of the most interesting pieces I have read. I learned something and I am a better person for having read it. It appears to have been well researched. It is my hope that others will take the time to read it too. Certainly, will remember many of the facts, as I am a lover of facts and the truth.

While I detest labels, I speak as a secular Jewish American. I have witnessed bigotry of many kinds. There are Jewish racists and there are antisemitic Blacks. A Jewish racist is a racist; a Black antisemite is an antisemite, just as Jewish supporters of the Black Struggle and Blacks who are supporters of Jewish causes are just that. Do our personal histories influence our attitudes? Of course, but we are all responsible as individuals for our attitudes and behavior. Do not project the behavior of individual (insert ethnic or racial identities) to any other member of that perceived group, or for that matter to the group as a whole. If we must judge, let us judge individuals.

In reply to The Truth. You’re the one playing yourself spewing obvious falsehoods. 30% of Southern households had slaves. Jews were a tiny part of the population so them being 75% of those households would be impossible. The slave ship ownership nonsense is false too as shown by anyone who’s seriously looked at the issue instead of just those churning out lazy hate propaganda to justify their bigotry.

They were such great supporters of the “black struggle” that they primarily owned the slave ships as well as 75% of households who had slaves were jewish.
