You are misleading people by giving them inaccurate information, using logic as if it is fact and using your opinion or ideology to sway people over to your way of thinking. That is a tall order for somebody who considers us as insignificant.

So much of what you said is so wrong and the few people who agree with you are apparently lost and tired of religion. Far to many people Mistake the Christian religion which came from the Catholic church and before that came from the Pharisees as if it is the relationship of Christianity with God. Stop misleading people.

The very first clue that you were introduced to religion instead of the true Christ is that you said you were raised to be a Christian. A true believer and child of God cannot be raised to be one, you have to CHOOSE to be one after having a personal encounter with and drawn by the living God to the Messiah. What you were raised to do was to go to church and act out religious behavior. Relationship is an entirely different thing.

As an apologist, I am persuaded not just by faith. I am persuaded by the evidence that surrounds me which confirms my faith is in the right place. You may talk to people who say you just have to believe. I’m not bragging about myself but I do study to show my self approved. I can also decipher and discern between logic and fact. Between truth and error. Between deception and clarity. So maybe you need to talk to a real believer who is knowledgeable enough of the areas you talk about in order to tell you what being a child of God really represents. Again, several things you mentioned in your article are highly in accurate and I have to wonder where you are getting your information from. If you resort just to opinions as you seem to have done on several areas of this article, everybody has an opinion. I have faith but I also get to the hard data. And the proof. One more thing, would you let the plumber who is a stranger coming to your house and then you tell him all the secrets of how much money you have in the bank, where your wife keeps her jewelry and what time your children are at home by themselves? No you wouldn’t. So you have to understand that the mysteries of the kingdom are NOT wide open to those who are unbelievers.

Let’s just be honest here. First of all you are hurt because of things you expected God to do and he didn’t. I can understand that. Secondly, you are teaching another doctrine and thereby becoming your own God, and effort which negates what you say about our insignificance. You don’t just have an ideology, you are actually developing a religion whether you know it or not. Thirdly, you are grossly in accurate about so many elements you mentioned in this article so I have to wonder where you are getting your facts and your data from. Fourth of all, if we are insignificant, then why should I be listening to anything you are saying? Because by your own definition, you are worthless. Finally, I could take the time to answer you point for point, but I won’t because it’s not a debate. I will be happy to do so in a one on one discussion or on a zoom call where everybody can attend and listen. And whereas I am a Director for my agency and I have several email boxes to check daily , I don’t commonly check my email so please do not construe that has me running away or disengaging in this conversation. Feel free to give the blog leader your number and I guarantee that I will call you. If you can talk the way you do with inaccuracy and disdain for scripture, you were never really nor properly introduced to the living God, the true word of God and the real Savior, not the religious one that seems to counterfeit in many churches.

I went to church when I was younger and even during my adult years.
I quit going several years ago because something just did not seem right.
After reading this article, I now know what that was.
I have to agree with what was said in this article.
I do believe in a higher power. Someone or something had to create everything and everyone on earth and the universe.

Bravo as far as it goes. This is an excellent statemnent of humanism. However, the uninverse does not seem to be a random walk in the park. It is far beyond human understanding, unless there is some force superior to all religiions that make us both insignificant but indispensable to the whole. That force could be called GOD for generator, operator, destroyer. All of reality falls into place with that assumption, including all the religions of the world. They all must exist by the will of Most-High GOD or it would be different. NOTHING happens outside the will of GOD including its denial because GOD makes atheists too…ergo theofatalism.
