America is a pluralistic representative democracy( i.e. organized under the U.S. Constitution ) with a capitalistic economic base that believes in an unequal distribution of available goods and services based on citizen merit( i.e. worth ) to the republic( i.e. political entity ) therefore a medical doctor merits more pay and subsequently more access to market places( i.e. things ) than a trash collector.This is the American existential way to freedom that delivers a sense of self worth,self respect,freedom of speech,freedom of religion, and a sense of social class status.
