As a trained Economist, it’s sad to see people like Star Parker twist facts and purposely mislead people with cherry picked information. While I’m not a Democrat or a GOP supporter, the truth is that inflation is part of the normal economic/business cycle. And the President does not have power or authority to print money. Only the Federal Reserve, an autonomous self entity, controls the nation’s money supply. While the President and Congress can affect spending or Fiscal policy, neither can change the nation’s money supply. The best any President can do regarding inflation is to hope it does not get out of control on their watch.
