“They don’t make a distinction between having Blacks around them and having the right Blacks around them. They tend to surround themselves with Blacks who make them feel good or who make them feel comfortable as opposed to those Blacks who know what the hell they are doing.

Very few of the Blacks that conservatives highlight move the needle in the Black community. In most cases, these Blacks have absolutely no connection to the Black community. But white folks surround themselves with people like them because they are greatly entertained by them, a throwback to the minstrel shows of old.”
