Personally though, it’s the jackbooting that makes me sick. All I can find is an endless supply of worthless articles from “authoritative news sources” telling people to fear a “second wave”, that you can get the virus twice, that the death toll is astronomical, that our rights are not being violated, that protesters are being selfish, blah blah blah. Nobody wants to have a serious debate on the seriousness of long-term economic and social impacts. Recession, Depression, suicide, drugs, inflation, bankruptcies, not to mention the scores of people that aren’t getting screenings/treatments/surgeries for OTHER illnesses. The cure, at this point, is FAR worse than the disease.

There is only one small smidgen of hope that keeps me going at this time, which is the belief that the current sinister incarnation of the Democrat/media/Hollywood/buerocrat machine is facing utter ruin in November. It is true that Biden (or whomever the dems nominate at this point) will be annihilated in Nov. And on July 4th, people are going to be fed up with social distancing and are going to have outdoor bbqs with their friends and neighbors. There will be a collective “enough is enough” and all the jackbooting media will be exposed as ultimately powerless.
