Agree, we must have the right people representing the Administration, but we also must have a specific objective and a plan to get there. The republican party over the years has developed programs that improve the quality of life for minorities the expansion of the development of the small business program, the establishment of the Indian Health Service, the first substantive investments in pandemic planning, and response. People are looking for, but also need plans that ensure blacks, and other minorities solve problems and include minorities in the solution. That’s what creates real opportunities.

Your column was spot on. Please send this article to the Trump administration. Maybe the individuals you referenced in the article? The issues you discussed are rarely mentioned by Black elected officials. Rarer yet do we see any functional plans to address those matters adversely impacting the Black communities. Yes the Republican party can and should do more to inform the Black community on how the party can benefit Blacks. It is time for all Americans to become critical, independent thinkers. Thanks for the insightful article.
