While I agree with you, uneducated voters will not transcend Marxist labels to vote for Sanders. I must disagree that allowing these voters to dictate the nominee and direction of the party is a viable strategy. As a 32 year old, I am deeply disappointed in the post-Obama Democratic party, and I wouldn’t count on many young voters (which you can’t rely on anyway) to come out for Biden or any PAC-funded, pots a gateway drug, will Veto single-payer healthcare candidate in 2020, it is the wrong direction and I cannot support lurching to the right, even if economic stability, is Paramount to older voters, it often has come at the expense of future generations.

I am deeply concerned about a repeat of 2016. Bernie seems more concerned with winning at all costs right now. My wish is that he would just admit defeat and work with Biden rather than trying to rip the entire party apart and guaranteeing four more years of Trump.

This is probably the most intelligent, cogent article I have read about Bernie. Couldn’t agree more. He may be a visionary, but that doesnt make him presidential material. God knows Joe has his weaknesses, and while he may not be the smartest man/woman in the room, he can identify who is, and persuade them to work with him.
