Stop trying to hijack articles by using your attempts at existential analysis. You are doing more harm than good. And the you want to promote your blog on someone else’s blog without their permission? You apparent have poor etiquette by any standard of faith or belief system.

Gallup and Pew polls are just that, a mere small sampling of the population. And if you understand how polls work, then you know they do more in shaping public opinion than they do in accurately representing it.

What is your purpose for your comments other than to let people know that you can talk and to promote your blog? My intent is to help and empower people. What is yours? And quoting the world’s polls is not a great start. Your mind needs to be renewed. It’s neither about you nor me.

According to a Gallup survey in 2017, 51% of Protestant and other Christians believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Only 58% of Catholics believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. That being the case, why would anyone be surprised by the un-Biblical beliefs by Protestants and Catholics?

According to Pew research

Strongly favor/favor Same Sex Marriage: Evangelical Protestants 28%.  Catholics and Mainline Protestants 57%.

Believe Abortion should be legal in all / most cases: Catholics 48%. Protestant Evangelicals 33%. Mainline Protestant 60%.

Believe Homosexuality should be accepted: Catholics 70%. Evangelical Protestant 36%. Mainline Protestant 66%.

If Believers in Christ do not believe the Bible is Inspired by God, then they will fall for almost anything.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Let each one of you repent and be immersed, in the name of Jesus Christ, in order to the remission of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (The Better Version of The New Testament by ChesterEstes)

If Believers in Christ do not believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then, they might believe Immersion in water is not essential for the forgiveness of their sins.

If Believers in Christ do not believe that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then they might believe that they inherited sins from Adam and Eve. [ NOTE: Babies are not guilty of sins]

If Believers in Christ do not believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then they might baptize infants and other non-believers. They might baptize the dead by proxy. 

If Believers in Christ do not believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then they might believe once you are saved you can never be lost.

If Believers in Christ do not believe  the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then they might believe that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

If Believers in Christ do not believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then they might believe they can pray to the Virgin Mary and other dead saints. They might think that Pastors and Priests can forgive them of their sins against God.

If Believers in Christ do believe that the Bible is Inspired by God. They they might believe that there is more than one God. They might believe they can be become a God.

If Believers in Christ do not believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Then in all probability they will not believe the New Testament terms for pardon.   THE TERMS: FAITH- John 3:16, Galatians 3:26. REPENTANCE- Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19.
