Tiger and his circle will make a lot of money, but it will not affect the lives of millions of black Americans who need the same opportunity. Entertainers and athletes have God-given gifts that are one in a million. There are over 40 million Blacks who live in this country with other gifts. We need to level the playing field so all can share their tips. The government spends a trillion dollars a year with the same companies, universities, and non-profit organizations. Fifty years later the minority business development programs are based on race rather than product or service for the global economy, and our goal is still a 3%. Tiger’s victory should be celebrated as he won in golf. Our community needs to win in everyday life.
