As a proud BLACK man (yes BLACK !) I am a LOT closer to being the color of the tire, the tie and the shoe than being from Africa. I am an American born BLACK man who has never BEEN to Africa, LIVED in Africa nor was BORN in Africa .My statement doesn’t ,in no WAY take away where others stand on this unfortunate controversial issue, I’m meirly speaking for MYSELF,but others ALSO who wish to stand with me , or alone. I will CONTINUE to stand BOLDLY on my ability to address common sense, in hopes to rescue my BLACK people who call themselves AFRICAN Americans out of the lake of brainwashed IGNORANCE.

This is the best article I’ve read in a long time. These are very wise words, messages, and ideas. I’ll do my part to pass on these ideas because our community needs to understand our collective strength and worth. But more than just understanding, we more importantly have to be willing to do what is needed to make immediate and long term change. It’s just sheer irony, we’re the problem while also being our only solution. Our creator is quite the comedian! HA!
