(ThyBlackMan.com) Before you scream and shout about the headline, hear me out. This may be controversial but, as you read this, I need you to forget everything you think you believe and know about Christianity. If you are a fan of history, this article is for you. What needs to be said, known and acknowledged in the black community is how Christianity has caused tremendous damages to Africans all over the world but, mostly to Africans in America. Before I get into any details id like all Christians to open their heart and eyes to the truth and pain Christianity has caused.

I’m going to start off with a disclaimer by informing you that you will read some disturbing and traumatic events that happened to our ancestors. I’d like to begin with a narrative about how Africans in America adopted Christianity. There is no doubt that Christianity is our oppressors religion, given the fact that Christians pray to a white god. There is also no doubt that we never learn about Christianity when discussing slavery. Well here it is. During kidnapping Africans and auctioning them off, leading Africans who are in different tribes to be around each other; all who have different languages, and breaking families up, selling African fathers separate from their wife and kids; former Europeans, which now we call them white Americans, came to the conclusions that Africans cannot read.

So to fix that issue, for it to play in their advantages, the first book former Europeans gave Africans to read, was the holy bible. Forced them to believe that not only are they our masters but, so is white god and if you hope and pray enough he will bless you and come save you from the white devil. Little did Africans know that was not the truth but, then again, they had no choice but to believe. To force Christianity into our culture, as we all know beating by the lash of a whip was continuously common during slavery but, black Christians lack to know that, our ancestors were beaten to believe in Christianity.

Our ancestors were tied to a pole, they called back then a whipping post. While tied to that whipping post, white Christians or even the driver (an African who has been appointed to do the dirty work of a slave master.) from time to time, will chain our brothas and sistahs to a whipping post and beat them over and over, until they confessed and hand over their love, soul, and faith to Jesus Christ; keep in mind, most Africans did not know English and so they had to be coached and pressured by a whip to say the very words “I believe in Jesus Christ“, in order not to die or suffer from any more pain. A lot of our ancestors died by these beatings, as most of the time, if a slave were to be considered disobedient that gave the white Christians power to beat “the evil” out of their slave.

After being successful in beating and killing many Africans to convert as Christians, Africans believed that white Jesus will and was going to come back and save them from the devil atrocious deeds. Many are still waiting for that day, 500 hundred years later but, that is besides the point. Furthermore, African slaves started to have secret prayer services away from the field, the biggest issue with that was, they were having these services during the time they should have been “working” on the plantation. That made slave owners upset but, never doubt the strategic mind of a murderous thief, slave owners knew they could not kill slaves whom were submissive to the all mighty, powerful white Jesus. After falling for the trap, harsh punishment, like death, was not necessary once some Africans realized to refrain from getting hurt, they’d outta listen, just to survive.

Slave owners realized the more slaves alive, the more money. So of course, African slaves were still punished for rebelling against work to pray but, slave masters did not see an issue with that, other than they were losing money by it, which gave many of the richest slave owners to capitalize on that idea of Africans practicing their religion, in order to keep their slaves tamed. With that said, black churches started on the plantation. The slave owners with enough money built churches on their plantation for their slaves, now isn’t that just the nicest thing you have ever heard of a slave master doing? In addition, slave masters, of course, said when it was okay for them to have this prayer service. They did that to “satisfy” their slaves and to keep them working when masters needed them to. Now, slaves did not make any money for the so called work they were doing but, allowing slaves to have a church, and in that same process, brainwashing and controlling them with false hope, was the most pay they got; while their masters was living fat off of their slave labor.

As long as Africans felt free in some sort of way, although, during the time they were “free” of slave labor, they were being demoralized and stripped of their culture. It was a triple win for white Amerikka, they resolved their problem with losing money by building churches on their land, stripped and demoralized African culture, while brainwashing Africans to be distracted and falsely lifted from being oppressed or their problems in general. And, made more and more money off miseducating Africans with the bible. What the black community got out of it was lies, a mechanism to remain defenseless and submissive, also poor ways of thinking.

Before I end this, I’d like to discuss one more thing, the black preacher. We in the black community, whether you attend church or not, are aware of preachers being wealthier than the church itself. It also happens to be that the evolution of Africans adopting Christianity, while being beat to convert as Christians, also was the beginning of black preachers being treated better than any other slave, due to the fact that he is preaching and practicing the religion of our oppresses to our community. Helping masters out by distributing their religion to our ancestors, resulted them to better pay. Not money but, better or more food over other slaves, better clothes and different knowledge, he most likely was in masters house more than he was on the field. Point being is that the black preacher back then was no different than the house negro or the driver but, all were abused, mistreated, and in the same predicament of finding ways to survive.

Our ancestors had no choice but to either die or believe in Christ. Some were unlucky and bled out from the lashes, and died a believer. We, the black community, being as “free” as we have ever been, have a choice. We have the choice to get rid of this poisonous cancer, and educate our people with the truth, power, and will to strive for a better and wealthier community. We are free of the chains and no more whipping post, let’s make the right choices while we have the chance. Free your mind of Jesus Christ, there is not white savior for our community. We must save us.

Believing in the religion of your slave-masters is never acceptable.
Yes, even the Ethopians were swayed by Roman Contact.
Might as well be an oral hooker or a bedwench.
    Let’s adopt everything from “Massa”…
‘Ole we lost, so maybe jesus is the way, butter biscuit eating sambo coon!

  2. Anti_Islam_Soldier says:

Great pagan Islamic Muhammadan Pedophiles have taken over the site.
No doubt let by Eric L Wattree.

I will never believe in a war mongering Pedophile that killed the original Jews in Arabia.

    WTF is wrong ya’ll?

  3. Mr. Nigeria says:

I am so sorry you were molested, please come to Jesus. The Lord and Savior of all.
The Virgin Mary was impregnated at 12, but it was by God himself.

Only God can bless the power of a child/reproductive section…not humans.

  4. The Isrealite Commando says:

The people who agree and push Christianity so hard in our black community are probably the traitors that sold us into slavery.

The ISREALITES are the true people of God.

I would go so far brother as to back the liberals, Islamists just to see this pagan faith killed.

I was molested by a Church Agent in Jesus’s name….every time I heard it I saw a red light and evil words.

Jesus can in turn can suck cock. (no homo)

  5. Imran Mohameed says:

To further add, many Christian Roman Bible “Alterers”
were child molesters like the Greek and such.
Although we know Italy (Rome) participated as well.
As a muslim I relish how this sick version of “Jesus”
    is being turned to mesh.

    Allah will set you free.

  6. Imran Mohameed says:

    Allah is the way.
    Contrary to what most think.
    Rejecting Christianity is very good.
    Atheism is forgivable (temprorily)
Shirk (associating partners with Allah isn’t)

  7. I even align myself with the Black Atheists of America, because in the back of their heads they KNOW who the true God and Goddesses are.

Every day even in Nigeria we are waking up to toxic religions that teach us to kill the other simply for being on the side eh?

  8. I agree brother.
    I worship Osha from Nigeria.
Amidst all the pain my people suffer
    from both Allah and Jesus.

I pray to all my ancestor God’s that Christians’
suffer the same colonialization and rape that we did.

Although we practice peace justice is needed for what
you did to both my continent and the world.

It was you that turned it into a sick, demonic zoo.

  9. Albert Salem says:

    A) Jesus did not fulfill the Messianic Prophecies
    1) Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28)

    2) Spread universal knowledge of God of Israel to unite world
“God will be King over all the world – on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One” (Zechariah 14:9)

    3) Usher in world peace.
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)

    4) Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).

No concept of the second coming was EVER prophesized in the Old Testament, nor the Torah nor the Talmud. This is simply a Roman Myth that has outlived its usefulness.

  10. Goddess Love says:

Few things, morals, stories have changed in 5,000 of intense well researched global religions. Few (if any) changes truly occur. For example everything “Eurocentric” truly has roots in Africans…not just Christianity even their “European Gods” morals have curiously similar Nubian traits

The mere idea that you need a savior speaks volumes on a persons inadequacy.
If an atheist “saves himself” and has a good life, the religious people will constantly deny it exists at all costs or relegate it to the minority.

The denial that you are the most powerful thing in YOUR life. Their are others such as probability, societal context etc

Our ancestors believed in multiple God’s at a time when Human Civilization was intensely spread out. Its no curiosity that when empires formed so did many religions get cut and eventually Monotheism itself based on a Monopoly of Abraham reigned supreme

  11. Michael Baxter says:

This article is the best one on the subject I ever read. A lot of people fail to realize what they need to believe in are themselves. Like you said a book of science fiction. Keep writing. Finally some people with common sense.

  12. freeda says:

You are correct in that the Bible was introduced to African people through a tragic method, and we’re still suffering the effects today. However, we as a race cannot dismiss the word of God contained therein. Since reading and study was forbidden when these historical events took place, we couldn’t possibly know anything other than what we were told. That’s no reason to dismiss the Word of God. Doing so only gives the opponent the winning hand, yet again. We as a community desperately need God’s Word if we will ever be delivered from the historical and current psychological chains that bind us. I’m not here for a debate. Just my opinion.

  13. Mitch says:

@M Anthony back on August 21st you wrote that you do not judge a belief system based on the people in that belief system, but on the doctrine and the example it tries to set. That is exactly backwards. So backwards as to be fundamentally insane. You should judge a belief system, and absolutely everything else in the universe, based on the effect it has on the world around it. I don’t judge Charles Manson based on Charles Manson, I judge him based on what he did to his victims. do not judge heroin or cocaine based on what they are made of or how they appear, I judge them based upon the effect they have on the people that use them. And I do not judge Christianity based upon it’s content or what it appears to be. I judge it based upon the effects it has on the world around it. And almost universally, those effects are horribly negative. Because no matter what it claims to preach, its end result is always bigotry, divisiveness, fear, oppression, and misery.

  14. Nena says:

@M Anthony, so how can I be wrong if this article isn’t about Africans not being black. How about you write an article about it instead of trying to insult me. How am I ignorant is Africans only worship jesus because they were beat over and over to believe in Christianity? How am I ignorant is “Black” (pay attention to the quotes) churches were built on plantations? How am I ignorant if it is nothing but the truth about the first book given to Africans was the bible? What makes me so wrong if that is the truth. You honestly gotta stop wasting your time on trying to convince folks they are not actually black. Any person with eyesight can recognize that. Nobody actually believes they are the same color as a tire. News flash we know we are not actually the same color as the Crayola crayon black. So please proceed on how I am ignorant after the fact you are trying to prove.

  15. M Anthony says:

THE AUTHOR NENA IS TRYING TO EDUCATE YOU AND SHE DOES NOT
    EVEN KNOW HER COLORS:

    AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK
It amazes me how many of you are still brainwashed to call yourselves BLACK. Black is not an identity and scientifically black is not even a color. It is next to nothing. Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin. The white oppressive slave trader called you black and himself white to set up a contrast and to attach negative images and denotations to you based on a lie about color. Look up BLACK in the dictionary.

Research even shows that blacks are perceived by other groups as very different from African Americans. But we still keep calling ourselves what someone else defined us as, what we are not and what has a negative dictionary denotation in society. WAKE UP. LOOK AT THE REAL COLOR OF YOUR SKIN. YOU ARE NOT BLACK. You are an African American. The lie of calling us black and defining us by color (the wrong color) has been in place so long that our people accept it as truth – but it’s not. Know your colors.

Native Americans do not allow others to call them red men. Asians do not accept being called yellow men. Hispanics do not answer to “what’s up brown man”. And Caucasians are not white, notebook paper is white. Wake up and see the plan where white racist supremacists plotted to redefine our people from Africa. STOP CALLING YOURSELF SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE NOT!
    AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE NOT BLACK.

Black is the “color” of your car tires, not your skin author. Being called “black” is a lie and it should be offensive. Haitians, Jamaicans and even Africans do not accept being called “black”, Why do you think that is? They are identified by tribes, klans, geographic areas and their respective countries. By using the very term black to describe us, we are doing the following:
    1. Using a term white oppressors and slave masters gave us.
    2. Letting someone else define us other than our own people.
    3. Calling ourselves something we are not.
    4. Buying into thee lie and the negative denotation. Check the dictionary.
    5. Being set apart in a way that no other ethnic group allows. Native
Americans are not called Red Man. Asians are not called Yellow Man. Hispanics are not called Brown Man. They do not and will not accept being defined by color and by some other race or ethnic group at that.
    6. Ignoring our actual color (brown) which means brainwashing has worked. Any time someone can get an entire race, ethnic group or culture to ignore what they are and call themselves what they factually are not, THEY HAVE BEEN INDOCTRINATED, ASSIMILATED AND BRAINWASHED.
    7. Playing right into the oppressor’s profiles and stereotypes. Did you know studies show there is a different perception of black people than there is of African Americans? Words create perceptions and perceptions create actions towards us.

WAKE UP. You know your colors. And even though others around the world equated our ancestors with the color of the soil in Africa or the meaning of negro/negroid, that does not change the fact that WE ARE BROWN – NOT BLACK.
If you look in the dictionary or send an email to brainstormonline@yahoo.com, I will send you the research. Facts are facts and YOU ARE BROWN, NOT BLACK. When you receive the revelation of why they keep calling African Americans “black” and Caucasian people “white”, you may just wake up!
STOP LETTING OTHER GROUPS DEFINE YOU WITH AN OBVIOUS LIE that we have heard and accepted so much that we believe it’s true and forget our colors. The de-programming has to take root or African Americans will forever be defined, limited and oppressed by those who get us to accept a lie.

  16. M Anthony says:

The author is ignorant and wrong. You do not judge a belief system by the flawed people in it. You judge it by the doctrine, a perfect example of the belief system (Christ) and the fruit it produces. The secrets of Christianity are not open to unbelievers. To unbelievers it simple says REPENT.

You would not tell your family secrets to just anyone, esp those outside the family. Nor does Christianity. Thus I overstand why the author sees it that way. But what better doe the author of this article offer than to shoot down a belief system? Much off nothing as a better alternative.

To be accurate I am not a Christian. I am a born-again believer, a child of God as the New Testament calls me. The doct4ine of the Bible in Ne Testament is correct in giving us the best way to live. Yes there are both errors and ommisions, but still it is the best New Covenant, New Testament code for life, prosperity and happiness we have – when properly understood and applied.

I do admit the white man stole the worship of YHWH via Yeshuah and changed the names as well as used it for his own hidden agenda. But That does not change the doctrine of the New Covenant. I don’t have time in this response to clarify but I will say this. Do not let the author of this article mislead so many of you who have had bad experiences with FAKE believers. The Bible exposes them in Matthew 24 among other places.

A confused and wounded person like the author of this article can only confuse, wound and doom others to Hell.

  17. Nena Soldaat says:

So what does God not being white have to do with Africans in America being beat to death just to follow their religion? What does God not being any race have to do with the blood shed just to mentally handicap a slave? What does any of y’all arguments have to do with the fact of how Black people adopted Christianity and how they still practice the religion of there oppressors today? You think just because you know God is a spiritual being that slave owners back then didn’t convince their slaves that the man whose going to save you isn’t white? What does the Bible have to do with the article other than it being forced upon Africans after they were told they could not read. So the first book given to them was a Bible, while being tied to a pole and whipped nearly to death just to believe in Christianity? Y’all don’t see the problem with that nor the result of that all because God isn’t white or any race, or because of what the Bible says? Point made.

  18. M Anthony says:

The article is full of errors. The author judges Christianity by the flawed misfits and hidden or bad motives of those who misunderstood it and thus misused it. The author also cannot seem to differentiate between Old and New covenant and the differences in behavior between each.

God is neither white nor black. A white Jesus was a fake for the real Hebrew Yeshuah, true. But God I neither color, no matter how much each race or ethnic group tries to claim him.

When you tamper with a persons faith, be careful and you better be accurate because you are tampering with hope. And if you offer them nothing better than question and controversy, you are a fool offering much of nothing.

  19. Mitch says:

@Kelvin: i can be sure that sin doesn’t exist very easily. In order for ‘sin’ to be real, a very specific set of things had to have happened in the past. First a God has to exist. Then that God had to have interacted with something on Earth. It had to have established rules to live by, and explained what the punishments were for breaking those rules. And if you believe in Jesus Christ you have to believe that he actually existed.

But we know as an extremely well-established historical fact that the entire book of Genesis never happened. Which means there was no Garden of Eden. Without a Garden of Eden there was no fall of Man. No fall of Man means no Original Sin. So right off the bat the default position of ‘ all humans are sinners’ is exposed as a lie. Then you have to look at the Commandments in the wall. But we also know as an extremely well-established historical fact that the Exodus never happened. Moses never existed. The Ten Commandments were just a cheap knockoff of the Babylonian stel, which actually did exist, and the other 630 Commandments of the Hebrew law we’re just a poor imitation of the Code of Hammurabi. Without the Divine Commandments, no other form of sin exists.

So all in all there was no reason for Jesus to ever exist in the first place. Which is good because, historically speaking, the character of Jesus never existed. There may have been a Wandering Rabbi named Yeshua Ben Yosef. Much like there is currently a man living in Manhattan named Peter Parker. But just because somebody shares a name with a fictional character doesn’t make that fictional character real. The mythical god man Jesus never existed. Most of the gospels were made up centuries after he is supposed to have died, none of them agree on very important points like when and where he was born or operated. And he is not recorded anywhere outside the Bible. If anything he did had ever actually happened there would have been historical records all over the place. In this case the lack of evidence is the evidence that he never existed.

And for all of this to matter at all, a God has to be real in the first place. But there has never been any reliable evidence of a god existing. Not the Christian God, not the Jewish god, not any of the thousands of Hindu gods, not any of the 30-something Norse gods, or Greek gods, or Babylonian Gods,. No Shinto gods. No great spirits of Native American mythology. No alien dictator Xenu. There is no evidence that any gods exist or ever have. Nobody believes in dragons, because there’s no evidence for them. Nobody believes in fairies, except crazy people, because there is no evidence for them. Nobody believes in leprechauns, because there is no evidence for them. Nobody believes in the chupacabra, because there is no evidence for it. And nobody should believe in any Gods. Because there is no evidence for them.

No I know exactly what you are about to think and or say. You’re going to say that my wisdom is foolishness. That there is some kind of higher wisdom which nobody can understand. That is a lie. That is a con artist saying I could tell you the secret ingredient, but then I would have to kill you. Well the secret ingredient is water. The scam you have been sold doesn’t work and never has. And that’s all religion has ever been. A scam. And you are a sucker who fell for it.

  20. James Davis says:

    Nena Soldaat

I noticed you capitalized the name “Jesus Christ;” why is that, if you find no honor in that name? Could it be you are somewhat fearful of taking this ploy of yours to its natural end, where in the final Judgement, you will be held accountable for every word you say and indeed write. Watch what people do and not what they say, fellow believers. You do notice when the Bible speaks of God and Jesus or Christ, they are in caps. It is a function of honor. Enough said.

Soldaat, you say,”Free your mind of Jesus Christ, there is not white savior for our community. We must save us.

  21. Kelvin says:

    Hi @Nena
You like it or not. I am not sharing my faith or what is seen or from reading Bible. I tell you the truth I experienced personally in my life from Jesus Christ. God is Truth and no one can deny that, for you can see up for yourselves. You cannot guess and conclude about Creation. He is not just nature, For our understanding has seen nature, For what is not seen you cannot explain. Your experience about God, Jesus or Christians is that you have seen humans mechanism to religion or culture.
I say this out of Love, God cannot be confined inside a religion, practices or culture. God is apart from Religion. You cannot find God inside the religion but when you humble yourself and seek him you will find him. I may not experienced your struggle, slavery, punishment, troubles, stripped up both mentally and physically. But I am sure that no human in this History has been afflicted more than JESUS CHRIST. God allowed that willfully so that you and i may be reconciled to the ONE GOD through the naked Jesus dying on the Cross.

Hi @Mitch – I am no wise person, All your wise thoughts will be made foolishness and laughed at when JESUS CHRIST comes down from Heaven to judge the whole world. You are sure of No sin or No Salvation but ask yourself, How can you be so sure of NO SIN?

  22. Renton says:

Sad to read this…if this is the state of Black journalism today. Millions of black people enslaved by Islamic conquerors and Africa’s indigenous systems of slavery have no voice in this pathetic polemic obviously. Christianity in fact largely rescued black people from a continuous historic cycle of enslavement. Black Christians, Jews, Catholics, “white” Christians upheld the dignity of black people when the inconsistency of enslavement with Christian and humanist understanding was developed. Strange how narrow minded and parochial your view of slavery is…nothing to say about the enslavement of other peoples of the world…asians in Middle Eastern countries today, jews and poles in Nazi Europe, Stalin’s victims.

African Americans are quite minor players in the World’s quota of suffering, historically and today…

  23. Ike(black man) says:

This article is false. Apparently this person never read the Bible. If you think all slaves were African, then you are sadly mistaken. First off, what does the word “black” mean? If it means the color of one’s skin then Asians, native Americans, Indians, and South Americans are black. Europeans gathered slaves from many countries, not just Africa. Here’s a heart breaker, middle eastern liked millions of African slaves, but i don’t hear you saying anything about them…. How about you read the whole book and not just certain sentences out of context. JESUS was not white, he was a Jewish Israelite. If you think being a Jew is considered a race then you need to go back to school. There are African Jews, Polish Jews, Russian Jews, Albanian Jews and Asian Jews. This article was only written to cause chaos amongst Christians.

  24. White Christian says:

No where in the Bible does it say what skin color my God has; and I do not believe in a white God, I believe in THE God.

  25. Mitch says:

Ryan: I’m going to need a citation. Because *nowhere* in the bible is any kind of slavery denounced. In fact, the transatlantic slave trade used the bible as their blueprint. ‘Take no slaves from your own community but from the heathens that surround you’. ‘Slaves are your property and can be passed on to your children.’ ‘Children born toa slave mother are automatically the property of her owner.’ ‘You may beat your slaves as you see fit. If a slave dies from your beating within two days of it, you must pay a fine. If it takes longer than two days, there will be no fine.’ Go read the bible. Really read it.

Kelvin: you are extremely confused. There is no such thing as salvation. Because there is no such thing as sin. Never was. Never will be. You’ve fallen for one of the *oldest* scams. Tricking people into enslaving themselves in exchange for promises of a cure for a disease that doesn’t exist and protection from a threat some con artist made up. Would you also buy one of my magic rocks that protect against dragons?

Ampdefy: why worship anything? You remind me of a very old story. Two slaves were working in a field. They had been slaves all their life, had been born into slavery. A free man walked past the field and stopped to ask for directions. The first slave, not wanting to slow down working, told him “go ask your master, we’re busy.” The free man replied, “I don’t have a master. I’m free.” This confused the slaves. The second slave asked, “If you don’t have a master, who tells you when to work and how to live? Who beats you when you make a mistake?” The free man replied, “nobody. I’m free.” The first slave asked, “If you don’t have a master, then who owns you and your children? Who assigns you your wife?” The free man replied, “nobody. I own myself and make my own choices.” The second slave looked on, fearfully. “Surely you must call someone ‘master’? Everybody calls *someone* master. You can’t just not have one.” The free man responded, “that is madness. Nobody needs to call anyone ‘master’.” The second slave the offered to help the free man meet their master, so he could have a master and be a slave like them. The free man recoiled in revulsion and left them to work the fields, sighing sadly. Some people cannot be helped and will always be slaves, whether the shackles are on their ankles or in their minds.

  26. Ryan says:

This article is one of the most ignorant articles I have ever read. Not just the writing style to make every Christian look like they are a slave master, but also that the information in this article is very incorrect.
    1. Those “Christians” were not Christians! They were going against what the Bible has said. The Bible is against forced slavery. Look it up.
    2. Y’all act like your ancestors didn’t do crap. African tribes stole other Africans and sold them. Don’t forget that!
    3. Stop saying “White” this and that. Jesus was middle eastern so obviously he had a dark skin tone.

You are only promoting hatred and you are doing no good.
I am only putting this out with love. I would love to talk more to you about this.
    Shalom

  27. Articles like these have the ability to negate the historical fact that much of the freedom we have was fought for by the black church.

Many of the same people fighting against police racial profiling of black people don’t see the hypocrisy associated with their religious profiling of black people. The anti-Christian sentiment inside the conscious community is more complicated than social media posts and public positions taken by prominent church figures. The black community isn’t monolithic. We share similar struggles, but we don’t share similar thought processes and beliefs. Too often we seek validation in ourselves, and our beliefs, through in-group out-group distinctions that elevate one segment of our community above another. Too many Christians are judgmental and condemning of people who don’t share their beliefs, and too many in the conscious community are condescending and intolerant towards Christians.

  28. Pluto Animus says:

    This white guy gets it.
Every black Christian worships the white slave-master’s god.
Don’t make much sense, does it?

Islam is just as stupid as every other religion http://www.atheistrepublic.com/blog/ahmad/why-islam-false
Just because some christians stopped selling and raping salves isn’t a bloody thing to be proud of!

Ampdefy – You don’t need to worship anything. It’s all made up lies, built on made up lies. Christianity today is nothing like the cult that started it anyway. You know the bible got made 300 years AFTER the christian cult started right? And threw out many, many other writings to make the “version” you currently read? Or that the first Christians (the Ebionites) said Jesus wasn’t the son of god, but “adopted” by god? http://www.vexen.co.uk/religion/ebionites.html#Demise

The Church killed anyone that made English bibles because they didn’t want people to be able to read it and see the lies and junk stories for themselves? http://bibviz.com

Islamists traveled to Africa to capture and sell slaves. Christians thumped Christianity into the slaves to make them passive and kill any traces of their own culture and knowledge.

You and the rest need to grow up and realise Santa Claws isn’t real. If you want change in life, you have to get off your arse, go out and do it. Don’t be lazy and just leave it to pretend gods while giving money to a church thinking thats all the work you need to do in life.

Don’t read to argue, read to understand. No where did I diss anyone’s God.

EVERYONE MISSED THE POINT OF THE ARTICLE. Practice on your reading comprehension. (:

This disgusts me. I’m an Arab, and to claim that Christinaity worships a “white God” is indeed beyond disgusting, and a lie. Christianity originated in the Middle East. One of the first countries in the world to adopt Christianity was Ethiopia, one of Africa’s largest nations, and this was while Christianity was still very much a tiny part of Europe and about 10-20% of Europe’s population. Everything here is a clear lie, and I’d challenge the writer of this garbage to quote a single prominent historian in the world who thinks that this piece is anything more then liberal fiction. The liberals want to convince blacks that they’ve been oppressed all their lives so that the blacks will vote for them and keep them in power. Blacks have been voting democrat in America for decades and nothing has changed for them. Democrats did slavery, and Democrats even founded the KKK. Search it up, you’ll never hear about this from the liberals who try to control minorities to support them.

The Church donates $50,000,000,000 (that is not a typo) to humanitarian causes every year, mostly Africa. Christianity is the single greatest thing to ever happen to the African continent, and without it, Africa would still be controlled by European slavery since it was the Christians who abolished slavery in the first place.

  36. A. Tatum says:

The biggest point your missing is that Christianity did not start in America. It started in a country very close to Africa. Christianity went to Africa before slavery came to America. And anything can be adulterated. Just because slave masters lied about the Bible does not diminish the truth of the Bible. A finite being can never be the definer of purpose. And when make such claims where defining our on statement as true.

  37. Rich says:

I would encourage you to look up Tony Evans of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas Texas. He will give you the truth whether you accept it or not, he is a man used by God and the ministry he runs is doing great work in the community and the schools of Southern Dallas. By the way most slave owners were not truly Christian, they may have claimed to be but they obviously failed at loving their neighbor and loved their “ideal” of God more than God himself. Also, colonial powers such as Britain, France, and Belgium were not interested in spreading Christianity and were often at odds with Christian missionaries so blaming Christianity for slavery or colonialism does not wash. Islam on the other hand invaded Northern and Western African and converted by the sword so if you want to know the real cancer then Islam is it.

  38. Nena Soldaat says:

@Kevin, all of that is fake. Christianity was literally stolen from stories already written. God is most likely nature. Mother Nature, but many aren’t ready for that convention. My article isn’t about god or Jesus itself, it’s about how religion is a mechanism to control people. Christianity has mentally destroyed the black community, y’all pray and wait. And while y’all are doing that the men in charge is taking land, killing our people, gentrifying our communities but as long as we pray all of our answers will be taken care of? It’s not real. Anything can set you free, it doesn’t haven’t to be a god or Jesus. And sin, sin is literally a way to guilt people for who they simply are, another mechanism to demoralize an individual, and change them into the person that religion wants them to be. Christianity isn’t part of our culture, it was forced and beaten into our culture. Christianity was not a part of our culture until they stripped us of it and forced us to follow their religion. We must take control back from them but that’s never going to happen if we’re praying to their god.

  39. Kelvin says:

    Hi Sir,

There is no Self-Salvation, All of us need a Savior to free us from our sins. God does not have a Color and God does not care about our outer appearance but sees the heart. We do not Know what is the Color of Jesus, For God purposely made his face not to be painted or photographed. He was Colored by Blood on the Cross for you and me. Love him and Love others, and do not expect love from Human for God has already revealed his Love through his Son Jesus Christ.

  40. Strongs119 says:

The first legal slave owner in American history to have his lifetime ownership of a servant legally sanctioned by a court, was a black tobacco farmer named Anthony Johnson.
    http://www.snopes.com/facts-about-slavery/
One of the less well known aspects of the history of slavery is how many and how often non-whites owned and traded slaves in early America. Free black slave holders could be found at one time or another “in each of the thirteen original states and later in every state that countenanced slavery,” historian R. Halliburton Jr. observed. That black people bought and sold other black people raises “vexing questions” for 21st-century Americans like African-American writer Henry Louis Gates Jr., who writes that it betrays class divisions that have always existed within the black community.

Historian Tiya Miles provided this snapshot of the Native American ownership of black slaves at the turn of the 19th century for Slate magazine in January 2016: http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/cover_story/2016/01/native_american_slavery_historians_uncover_a_chilling_chapter_in_u_s_history.html

  41. Nena Soldaat says:

We shouldn’t worship anything but ourselves if you care enough to. You missed my whole point because my article isn’t about the Bible. It is about Christianity. I still wouldn’t read the Bible on my own knowing that was the first book slave masters forced down my ancestors throats. While at the same time claiming that can’t read. I don’t have to read the Bible to know that it is science fiction.

  42. ampdefy says:

so Nena Who or what do you suggest we worship? obviously you dont read or understand the bible because it talks about everthing
