I have followed Janet for decades and she has always been very private with her outside of the music endeavors and have witnessed the media trying to make that family out to be this horrible, money hungry, discombobulated family that was just so reckless and divided, and they aren`t. If you look at a lot of the entertainers who are on drugs, drunk driving, murdered someone, sex parties, getting caught up in everyday drama and look at the Jackson, you see none of those things. I get very frustrated when black people, writers, media outlets go along with this fuckery as the white media continues to tear down on legends in the media, like they did Michael, like they try to do Janet and think that this is okay. We have never seen Janet out on a drug binge, we never saw MJ on a drug binge he was depressed, suffered from anxiety and no one in the public knew this, but let the media say he was an addict, then every black person jumps on that bandwagon, forgetting about all the great music and how much of a great entertainer he was. They did the same thing with Janet, when this white man, tears her breast plate off exposing her breast on national television, she gets raked through the media, endorsements dropped, music not being played, totally black balled when she was equal to her brother in prominence in the industry, a Global Superstar, a Legend and Icon, like her brother, suddenly she becomes this monster. As black people, we need to do better, we need to stop excepting what the media says and start looking at how our legends and Icons have gotten us through tough times with their music and how their music and performances made us want to reach out and touch them and be like them.
