It was forged in wars launched by Muhammad against those he would force to accept Islam or wage Jihad against them and kill them. Stop ignoring the Surahs of the Quran which say kill the Jew or do not befriend the Christian.

And don’t bring up attacks against the Bible as a rebuttle because those are apples and oranges, though the Catholics launched bloody crusades. Fundamental Islam is taken literally and the war and murderous element of it is generally ignored by peaceful Muslims. But it still exist. Be honest people.
