Golden statement, bro. And great article. There is a self-healing process that our community will have to go through in order to repair, and that’s only going to start with a knowledge of self. It’s depressing to think about the business behind mass-incarceration, especially when one pulls up the data on the black family. Policing ourselves is an option, but in order to do that we would need an infrastructure; and in order to build that we would need a cohesive community, which goes back to the self-healing process.
