					<description><![CDATA[Thanks, Leora! And did you know that Europe is not a continent? It is a peninsula on the continent of Asia. And Europe is not as big as it looks on the map. Standard maps make the Northern Hemisphere bigger and the Southern hemisphere smaller than they really are. So Europe and North America look huge and Africa and South America are shrunken.

And there is no reason why the Northern hemisphere is always shown at the top and the Southern Hemisphere placed at the bottom of the map. After all, there is no direction is space. Is there?
