A few years ago, while Beyonce Knowles -Carter, the entertainer was in Toronto, I mentioned to her L’Oréal Canada was the only cosmetics firm in N.America which still tested on animals. In their plant in North Toronto, known as North York to us. I had pictures and testimonies from people on the inside. She did not ask to see them. She got on her iPad that very moment, called L’OReal and promptly severed her contract with L’Oréal , at a loss of millions in income to her, and loss of magazine and television revenues, Cover Girl beauty etc. The “others”, Queen Latiffa, Hellen Degeneres, icole Kidman and the like still have their faces plastered on all media outlets L’Oréal uses to sell it’s products .I believe Beyoncé should be given a Big Shout-Out for her diligence and heart of gold. She did not have to take such a great loss in her career, but put herself, fame and money aside, and immediately, did the right thing. Please pass along. Am sorry I did not mention this the day it happened.
