To those who have an interest in these matters:

While the African American unemployment rate will rise in the coming week and months ahead, you have the #2 person at the Federal Reserve Bank (Fed) essentially saying we don't know how to address the coming economic storm. Yet we have black policy makers who are suppose to be looking out for the interest of African Americans sitting on their butts and not saying a darn thing - Where is the Black Caucus? Remember our unemployment increases from 18%!

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-01/fischer-says-fed-s-next-decision-unclear-amid-global-uncertainty

Buy the book at http://www.thefixthistime.com which lays out a clear road map of how to end this upcoming downturn. $10.00 is the cost! Give us the ability to respond aggressively through the purchase of the book. If African Americans do not invest in their own well-being, its pretty clear the majority leaders policymakers have no interest in doing so.

James, also I never, ever work as an individual.
I know and teach the value of the team concept, as long as each person carries his own weight and stays in his own lane. But overstand this, people must first take steps and make a decision as an individual to change their lives. If they do not, they will be a detriment to those who try to help them, just as a drowning man could also make the lifeguard drown.

It is amazing how many people wait on the government that could care less. In my lifetime it has never been a government of, by and for the people. It is not a democracy ("and to the Republic for which it stands"). It is a capitalistic oligarchy.

To James (The Author)

AA unemployment is up and what is our excuse for why we struggle? Struggling is the result of a slave mindset of either blaming someone else or expecting them to take care of us. I suggest you guys read my article on this site entitled White Savior Programming.

Our financial well being is up to us and the entrepreneurs of Black Wallstreet in Oklahoma overstood that. The biggest thing that holds our people back is fear, along with excuses and the misguided idea that someone else should take care of us and determine our incomes.

As a business owner for over 13 years who started with only $100, no savings and no check coming from the government, insurance or disability, I know it can be done. But not with excuses and not by playing the blame game.

Why would you expect the corporation to take care of you when their profit margin is their capitalistic bottom line, not your well being? Why would you expect the same government that has sought to oppress you to then turn around and help you succeed. Let's wake up.

James our people can learn and they must learn fast or be at the mercy off the government, the economy and the corporations. Our people do whatever else they want to do, they just don't prioritize entrepreneurship because they are so stuck on working for Apple instead of building one. That is worker bee or slave mentality. But that can be changed.

It is not about having the money or the silver spoon or the education. It is about having vision, diligence, passion and motivation. But our people would rather watch ignorance like Empire or watch the game. A lack of priorities is what is stopping our people, not the white man, not the government and not the lack of money or ideas.

Our people have an identity crisis and a confidence problem coupled with an inferiority complex. As a family and relationship counselor, that is exact what I work to deprogram them from. But instead of listening, they flaunt their egos, call me names, make excuses and wait on the government or the white man.

Everything starts with a realization that we are responsible for our own finances and a decision to make it happen. Like Nike says, they should just do it. It is not as hard as our people think. Like a computer, its all about programming. I taught entrepreneurship to 10 year old young AA boys for two years, January to December. They listened and started their own businesses because they had not received a lot of bad programming.

Marque Anthony:

Let's stop playing the individual game and start working as a combine!

I have read many of your articles and value your common sense. Everyone does not yet possess the expertise you have in starting businesses. Besides at this time we have to deal in the moment! There is no question something is going on in the world's economies that will affect us as a race and we need to pay attention. Nevertheless, when the African American unemployment rate does rise again and it will, there is hope in that "we already have a solution." The true message of the article is to make readers aware of the book, "The Fix This Time." And that's the direction I want to point you and all my friends to. Let's see if we can get the solution out there and in this endeavor - I need all the assistance I can get. Together, skepticism when it comes to promoting this plan can be overcome when we combine our efforts. The plan is mathematically sound and it makes common sense. And of all things, hear this, and hear this good, its beneficial to all of us! God's speed to you and yours.

I have been in business full time for 13 years and started with NO money, correction $100. The key to African American independence is entrepreneurship, not working for a corporation that could care less about you.

It is not as hard to start and run a full time business as you think. If r people would have more confidence in themselves, get focused, stop making excuses and stop expecting employers or the government to take care of us, we could do what they did in BLACK WALLSTTREET.

STILL COUNTING ON THE WHITTE MAN AND STILL COMPLAINING? WOW
