Most people, black or white, will not look any further than the pump price…and there in lies the problem. Suddenly out of left field, “BAM!,”the other shoe drops and we wonder why the lay-offs are occurring. The lay-offs were there all along lurking in the reduced price. We all need help in understanding that sometimes it’s good to look behind the curtain. If not, we will continue to be played…and at the end of the day, whose fault is that? There is an old saying, “When you know better, you do better.” May God help us… and not just let the wealthy and highly educated know better, but help all of us who are willing to listen and learn when it comes to all of life’s experiences to know better.

I understand your message only because of my retired status.
What about the young single mother raiseing three children,
They live from pay check to pay check, don’t give a hoot
About what gas will cost 2 or 20 years from now. All they want to
know is that their pay check is not going into the gas tank.
I don’t think they will buy into your gas concerns for them.
