The ad hominem attacks and non sequitor arguments in this article are too numerous to name. First of all, to say that white racism doesn’t effect black folks is evidence of either serial ignorance or aggressive foolishness (even white institutions admit to this).To make the claim that the historical antecedent of white racism in the banking, real estate and insurance industries had nothing to do with the current situation we face in the inner cities is not only boldy idealistic, it is empirically false. Historically black conservatism has ALWAYS been the equivalent of being a white accommodationist: don’t do anything that is going to upset the white establishment, keep your head down and mind your own business. It was the so called Black conservative who pleaded with King to stay out of Selma and Montgomery, AL. Your rhetoric suggest that the people you named deserved their outcome. That is an extremely dangerous and self-defeating attitude that is born from the bosom of self-hatred. And just because Dr. Ben Carson has a great back story, when he says things like “The affordable healthcare act is worse than slavery”, yeah, it makes most critically minded people say “so something that helps 17 million people have affordable healthcare is worse than an institution that you never had to live under and took the lives of over 100 million people? Really?” Perhaps it is you who has lost their grip on critical thought that is actually helpful and beneficial to more than the puppet masters who want us to believe that President Obama is a JV President who has done more harm than all of the presidents before him, combined. You’ve obviously never heard the very harsh critique of his presidency that has come from “his camp” (meaning black folks).
