There is a real need to shine light into this area; however, we must get away from generalities when we speak about remedies.

You need to get away from talking about “black economic racism” as you say, in generalities. African Americans need specific solutions,especially from people like yourself who have a platform!

Many of us do not realize blacks are in the fight of their lives right now. Double-digit unemployment for seven straight years is no joke and certainly not meant to enhance the family unit. If you will notice, the recent killings of blacks men have stemmed from crime as a precursor whether real or imagined. Trayvon Martin – recent break-ins in the community; Michael Brown – theft of cigars; Eric Garner – the selling of loose cigarettes and Walter Scott, back child support payments. High unemployment and crime are brothers. These are crucial times in black communities across this country and a severe test of the quality and preparation of police forces.

Look, the bottom line in any discussion about African American economic development or “economic racism” is that blacks must resolve the issue of how to obtain risk capital which does not depend upon the capricious nature of white racists. Reparations for blacks due to having been enslaved is a great solution but does not stand a snowball’s chance in hell of becoming law in next few years. However, the Davis Deficit Neutral Job Creation Plan does have a more than even chance of becoming law. This plan will pump as much forty million dollars a day directly into black communities across this country for as many 16 years or even longer. Does not sound like much money…does it?! Do the math. Forty million dollars multiplied by 365 days (one year) works out to $14.6 billion a year. Over tens years, that means, $146 billion dollars would be placed directly into black hands. From this pool of capital can spring the risk or venture capital money needed to create businesses and start down the path to the answer of “economic racism.”
