In your 2nd point, you don’t really need to always pay facebook for advertisement because there’s a lot of automated softwares out there that can post your ads to unlimited groups. One example I am using is Mass Planner it is a Godsend because it helped me managed all of my social media accounts. Another note to add for this article though is that, social networks has different kinds of audience. For example, Pinterest mostly have higher female demographics, LinkedIn has demographics that are pretty serious so posting humorous quotes there might not help you.
