We have to, if we are to progress and cease to be the “whipping boys and girls” of racist whites, push our agenda, while at the same time working in the best interest of the nation. Our brothers and sisters of the “60’s and 70’s” accomplished this feat. It was in the best interest of the nation during that period of time that it attack and eliminate institutional racism. To a some extent, legislative laws passed by Congress during that period aided in that effort.
