					<description><![CDATA[True and false Loyd. It is part of the human condition to stereotype.  Yes.  But our stereotypes are also influenced by dominant media influences and the dominant narrative. 

So what happens when someone is worried about the Black guy IN the suit.  Or what happens when police disproportionately pull over Blacks in cars with the individuals being simply Black?

What happens when Blacks are profiled in banking and other industry. 

Right, it is just common sense to be aware of your surroundings and act in your self-interest and safety. If that was just what profiling was about, I am not so sure there would be so much drama around it. 

But it is much deeper and pervasive than that.]]></description>
