This is a TV show, she is playing a character. Kerry Washington is a talented actress, and Shonda Rhimes is a talented writer. We need to celebrate that, and not cater to a black man, or society, who clearly is offended by her sleeping with someone from a different race, please get over it.

Really? Come on. Not all black women were raped by white men, that is a myth made up by jealous black men so they could eliminate competition from mulatto men and White men and who were angry that children of mixed parentage had access and privileges they as fully black would never have in the society. There were plenty of black women who had equal relationships with white men just like there were lots black people who owned slaves. As a matter of fact tge first slave owners in the USA were black, not white.

You’re just a hater. Stop Being greedy. You can only have one wife and fictional or real black women are not your property not your sisters. Stop trying to run game so you can get some love. How bored can you possibly be? This is a tv show, and with all of the things going wrong in the world today you choose to speak on the “rape” of Olivia Pope? This is a STORY to entertain women for the most part, just like a romance novel. The strong man over powers his woman and takes her. Nobody looks at this as rape it is a fantasy…not to mention I havent heard Ms. Pope complaining. Stop over thinking this (and trying to create a race issue where there is none), and pour yourself a glass of wine and RELAX!
