You're definitely entitled to your opinion on President Obama, but you're overlooking some intricate underlying details. Your opinion of him lends to the myth of Blacks having the "bucket'o crabs syndrome". He doesn't do what and how you want as you see fit and you're ready to discard him as useless to the Black community. First of all have the common sense to know that politics involves POLITICS! Us as Black people make up 13% of the country, you seriously think campaigning primarily on the plight of 13% of the population will get you elected in AMERICA?!?

Let's also consider that little gathering by Republicans the night of his first inauguration to NOT work with him on ANYTHING under ANY circumstances. So much so that they even eschewed their own ideas and policy initiatives. There were many policy initiatives the President wanted to enact that that Republicans have either filibustered or blocked. So he did what he could through whatever power he had in the executive order (i.e. My Brothers' Keeper). So you're right about it being "debatable" when it comes to President Obama because I'd debate you all day. It's not like he's a cooning step'n fetchit like Herman Cain or Ben Carson.

As for Michael Jordan?!... It's beyond laughable they'd put that bootlicking Sambo next to the likes of Dr. King, Malcolm X, and President Obama.

I totally agree with your article its sad that we as blacks look up to so many people we just do not know or follow to see how they live. In my honest opinion I don't see a freedom fighter in a man who married a white woman first and foremost. But Black enterprise is the new Ebony soon to become watered down with being cool with being cool.
