It’s a good thing your parents did not divorce. Financial problems are really hard to bear. I think however that your parents should consult a financial advisor before its too late. They need help in getting back on track financially. Your mom is unable to manage given her limited resources as well, you said bill collectors threaten so it means she is often late in paying. Since she is the bread winner its a struggle. Your family needs to make the adjustments to live within their means. I could provide help at no cost or you could contact a financial advisor as I mentioned above.

Thanks for sharing your story! I am sure that your father has everything it takes to become a physician. The reality is the mainstream is at war with the Black man and has been emasculating him for centuries. In addition, Blacks (whatever the gender) are being under-assessed in every setting. I have proof! It happens in schools by making sure they do not enter in liberal professions, on the job market by making sure they do not get promotions and so on.
