I’m not a fan of today’s rap, but this sounds like the shit ALL rappers go through for the sake of being #1. The competition is fierce and it gets ugly at times. From what I’ve seen on the ghettomess.com (or something like that) website, Nicki will do anything on stage, like wear a fake penis. While its disgusting and ghetto, you have some people who will claim that Nicki’sa talented rapper who’s pushing the envelope. Puh-leez! Nowadays, rappers wouldn’t know talent if it bit ’em on the ear.

And this Iggy chick. I know nothing about her or her music, but I’m quite sure she will eventually show the world her true self. She’s new on the rap scene and will have to prove her “spittin” abilities in order to be considered “true to the game.”

Not that I care one way or the other. I would’t buy or listen to any of these females music anyway. It’s the same o, same-o when it comes to competition and jealousy among rappers.

This article, while it made very few valid points is mediocrity at its best. The writer seems to know less about the situation then they may even realize. Nicki Minaj, although she may not have the most authentic figure she clearly wasn’t referring to physical appearance . It was a jab at artist (most commonly rappers) who do not write there own material. Now while iggy may have acquired a few minimal accomplishments at best in her short (yet long career, seeing as how she released 3 singles prior which all did horribly and now that she has ONE semi hit she all of a sudden is a threath) doesn’t posses the skill nor the talent to surpass someone on nicki’s calibar. But like you said, can’t hate the puppet just the puppeteer.
