King was no savior and our people need to stop waiting on one or another to arise. Each person has the power to make things happen for himself. More people should have a dream (and a vision) than King Jr. King’s children left his teachings behind. I know the Kings and my father marched and went to Morehouse with Martin Luther King Jr. He was an example for us to follow, not a savior.

We have left MLK’s teaching behind and are afraid to confront the truth. Remember his 1961 St. Louis speech: we make up 12% of the population of St. Louis, but commit 50% of the crime. Sharpton, Jackson, Van Jones, etc. are cowards. They are afraid of MLK and what he taught.
