While many of us sit here and write about the women involved with this former pastor, I wonder how many of us have shoved skeletons in the closet as well. Are the women who have come forward supposed to be now convicted of being tattle-tails or have we just been trained to be hush mouth over preachers in the pulpit who sleep with their congregation? Is the w**** just a woman or the w**** also the man? What makes this unique is that this case has been played out yet again in a religious arena. It is not special, it is not new, it is not a phenomenon. What gives this story so much light is that it has to do with black people in the church. The reality is that HIV and AIDS is spread everyday to men and women heterosexual bisexual and other.the infidelity is a whole other subject.

As this article has served to enlighten everyone that reads it, my heart is truly troubled. We have had the luxury of reading about the transgressions of other Church organizations and now the spotlight is on us. If Satan has the power to transform himself as an angel of light, why do we find things such as this to be surprising? If Ms.McAfee had no shakes or nightmares, would she still be engaging in unprotective sex? Sex in the chuchhouse is nothing new as there are several acts of perversion going on everyday. The problem occurs in one getting caught. The issue of accountability is not examined in this case as both parties overlooked their individual responsibility in persuing personal satisfaction in sinning. As there were hypocrites in the time of Jesus, there will be some of the same in the last days. While people may find this type of behavior shocking, you can bet that if people were to be honest, acts such as this happen more often than you know. The challenge in being a Christian comes in the form of temptation and other opportunities to sin, such as being dishonest, selfish, and most of denying the power of God or His existence. All we can do is the best we can do on an individual basis as we all will answer for our actions in the end. It is the fact that we tolerate such actions without a full understanding of God’s expectations for us as His children. I can be of the opininon that where sin exists, God’s spirit is nowhere around. For if it were, no sin could occur. The true problem is not in the fact that we sin, but how we atone for it once it is revealed. Once you repent, you are forgiven, and should have the fortitude of not revisiting any situations that caused wrongdoing to occur. Although it sounds easy, it is the hardest thing to accomplish on a daily basis. Heaven help us all. Peace out, Papacool.

@Cliff Barker… why claim the pastor has HIV when he wasn’t diagonosed? All of the articles I’ve read state that he didn’t reveal he was HIV+ and not one expert has stated that he wasn’t diagonosed.

If you were paying attention to the trial, you’d know that the doctors who initially claimed that Davis and a victim were infected with HIV ALL admitted at trial that they never actually diagnosed Davis; and the lab “experts” from LabCorp and Quest ALL admitted that they never diagnosed Davis. That’s like the arresting officer of a drunk driver who admits that the driver didn’t actually look drunk. I understand why the jury convicted Davis – some allegations are too ugly to require evidence – but for the judge and prosecutor to let a factually-innocent man go to prison is unconscionable to this career police officer. You can hate Davis all you want, but that doesn’t make him guilty, just as your hatred of him does not make you human. Stay tuned.

Very good article and straight to the point. Black males like the reverend are the reason why the % of black women infected with HIV has risen sky high. But if these whores, like you said, didn’t let these guys crawl between their legs, it’s a good chance they wouldn’t be in this situation. It’s also a well-known fact that Craig was sexually active with males too. A whore loving, down-low dude who WAS a pastor. Wonder if anyone’s going to have any sympathy for yet another black male going to jail. I only wish he got more years behind bars. He’s exactly where he needs to be.

And this heffa was a whore before she walked in that church. She got what she deserved. Seems to me that whores NEVER think until they suffer the consequences.
