I just viewed this on youtube and the author of this article left out some important details.

1.) Aimee left the scene of the accident.

2.) A marijuana cigarette was found in Aimee’s car.

The judge, a black woman, actually shed some tears and wiped her eyes with tissue. You could tell that she didn’t want to sentence this young woman to 36 years. The mother received 8 years for obstructing justice. Aimee wanted to turn herself in, but her mother told her not to because she didn’t want to have her daughter taken away. But she did get taken away.

This is terrible. She shouldn’t’ve received 36 years. That’s TOO HARSH of a sentence. If what you’ve written is the true story then the other drivers, who were drunk, should’ve gotten at least 20 years. I’m gonna find out if there’s anything I can do to help this young woman in any way I can.

If there is anything we can do to help this young woman, please be informative in those regards as well. It isnt enough to point out the problem especially when there is a solution…so in this case if there is a solution lets figure it out and pursue it together.
