Although I did not see the 10 ways listed, I still found the article to be of use to me as a man. What seems to be missing is the fact that people seem to ask God for a truly good partner to share their lives with. But it appears to me that when one gets that person something seems to cause the relationship to falter. That something includes being bored with someone that practices honesty and goodness so much to the point that they end up being compared to others who have been there before.

I am basing my opinion solely on my own experiences as it comes back to the fact that one must be careful for what one asks for as one may truly get the request fulfilled. If all relationship operated on the honesty is policy foundation, alot of problems would be avoided. Men and women need to be good listeners as well.

It is not a contest to see who can boss or change the other, especially if one finds himself/herself unequally yoked to someone. Consensus is the name of the game as two can not walk together unless they agree. As a society we have been brainwashed in how we define success and what truly defines a real relationship between two individuals as well as a growing family. All I basically try to do is be honest in what I am seeking and what I do not care to tolerate. Whereever there is confusion, the spirit of God is not there. If God is not there, I do not care to be present as well. There is not a problem known unto man that does not a solution. However, as people, we do not always do what is necessary in the area of compromise. Does it really matter who makes the most money? In this day and time, women have gotten to the point where they make more than most men they meet. Most men therefore are imtimidated by this fact as the utopian image of the man being the breadwinner is shattered. As long as there would be a budgetary covenant in place, no harm, no foul.

We all need to get a grip on all on the things we were taught. In all honesty, I have found out that alot of what I learned was ass backwards and invalid. So I prayed, ask for God to forgive me for having a one track mind, and vowed to do things differently. In the end, I see that no one can make anyone do anything if one keeps their eyes on the prize. Peace out, Papacool.
